Getting Started:
You can help translate PitBull for your language with the localization tool.
Classic
PitBull works with WoW Classic! Classic Era/Vanilla is supported in
v4.3.x-vanilla releases. Cataclysm Classic is supported in v4.2.x releases
(the same releases retail use).
Classic Era caveats:
- Aura duration is not available from the API, so PitBull uses LibClassicDurations to show them. The duration can be inaccurate if it's affected by rank or talents.
- Cast info is only available for your spells from the API. PitBull uses LibClassicCasterino to show cast bars for other units, but this can be inaccurate since there is a lot of guess-work involved.

Posted Dec 24, 2010I also think that a "/pb refresh" command would nice temporary fix. This issue only occurs when players leave and join the group from look of it. The biggest issue is that the user role icons keep their old positions, regardless of which player is in those positions.
Also, slightly unrelated... I've been having an issue with the party frames where the "Party Targets" frame shows the same data as the "Party" frame. The refresh method above also fixes it. I only tell you in hopes that these are somehow related.
PB4 is my favorite addon next to Macaroon! Customization for the win!

Posted Dec 21, 2010My party frames are not updating correctly. When someone drops from group and is replaced, the party frames show incorrect names, roles, and class colors. When we do a mounted/vehicle action in a 5man, the part frames correctly reflect the mount/vehicle but when we are done, they party frames are not updating back to correct character names, roles, and class colors.
I have searched the addon options without luck for an option that would force an update/refresh. Any ideas on help for this issue?

That will hopefully help us figure out the issue. It is not something Shefki and I have been able to replicate but it is something we have heard is happening.

Posted Dec 21, 2010Either A) you have a hidden frame that you are right clicking on to get that menu. In which case confirm that all the Units have been disabled from the drop down on the Units menu.
or B) There is some conflict with another add on you have running. (My guess is you have something that perhaps allows hover casting or click casting.
I was unable to reproduce this with just PB4 running. (Meaning yes I could find the right click menu... but not just clicking on a creature in the world... I had to be clicking on the frame.)

Posted Dec 21, 2010While the user might not visually see the upgrade, Blizzard changes their code and developers learn new and better ways to implement and use things. Its like cars where they build a better engine and put it in the same body style. If you never look under the hood it doesn't look like an upgrade.
To further comment on your passive aggressive commentary:
PB4 has a new design concept; however, this does not mean its less customizable, just that you have to learn how to use it. To that end there are numerous guides, including one linked above, and even an FAQ up there to help you figure it out. It is just as customizable as PB3 if you take the time to learn how to do so. Additionally you might find asking a question on how to do something will actually result in someone helping you learn how to do what you want to do.

Posted Dec 20, 2010How do I turn the default Raid/Party frames on/off?
Go to Modules > Hide Blizzard Frames and uncheck or check the box next to the raid/party frames to turn on and off the Blizzard frames and Raid manager. If you would like to use the Blizzard raid manager with PB4 frames, this should be set so that they are not hidden here, and use the "Hide" button on the Raid Manager window.

Posted Dec 20, 2010But it seems I have run into a bit of a snag. Come Cataclysm I have returned to playing my Druid - Feral. When I go into kitty form I have no energy bar... instead it still shows my mana bar from normal form. Previously it would change to energy when switching to cat; is this a bug perhaps? Or does cat form not use energy anymore lol.
