Getting Started:

You can help translate PitBull for your language with the localization tool.

Classic

PitBull works with WoW Classic! Classic Era/Vanilla is supported in v4.3.x-vanilla releases. Cataclysm Classic is supported in v4.2.x releases (the same releases retail use).

Classic Era caveats:

Aura duration is not available from the API, so PitBull uses LibClassicDurations to show them. The duration can be inaccurate if it's affected by rank or talents.
Cast info is only available for your spells from the API. PitBull uses LibClassicCasterino to show cast bars for other units, but this can be inaccurate since there is a lot of guess-work involved.

Go to /pb Modules > HIde Blizzard Frames and re-check "Raid" and "Party"

Not at this time. You can use the option to not position as bar and then place them outside of your main frame but its a unit frame add on... so it doesn't detach indicators.

You may want to just turn off PB4 indicators and get a different indicator add on.

Wonderful Addon you've made here. I was wondering though if its possible to make text change lines if the text lenght is longer than the lenght og the frame it is in ?

The length of text to display is determined by the game engine. You can have multiple lines of different things, such as:

Health %
Health Amt/ Total Health

but not one thing clipped that then breaks to the next line like

Personwith-
longName

To add a break to your custom code like above use "\n" (no quotes) between the elements.

Great Addon, just have one question. Is there a way to setup Bosses like T4W and Council Twilight Council to where the multiple side boss frames are able to be changed with PB? Haven't found the option and Blizz's frames are horrid :)

Pitbull 4 is creating a mouse issue. quite frequently my mouse click actions are not recognized. I don't see others with this issue, perhaps this is an interaction with another addon I may have? Any thoughts?

Firstly check to see if you have click through enabled if this is occurring over a unit frame.

If its not happening over a unitframe type /framestack and move your mouse over the area and a tooltip will tell you what is under your mouse

There is a bug in config mode for group frames. (That's why the tooltip says it has been disabled for groups!) You can still config a layout using singleton dummy frames or in live groups. It just won't draw the dummy frames.

Having problems with group/raid config modes. All configs show up on player, target, focus and targets target, but all I can see on the raid or group frames is a text with either "raid" or "group" and nothing more. Any clues?

I think you give PB4 a second try, as what you want is what I've done :)
Just create as many different "layouts" you need and affect the units/groups the right layout.
PB4 > PB3 in my mind, just different configuration methods.

You realize... PB4 offers the same amount of configuration right? You just need to make layouts, and edit each one based on what you want... everyone you said it cannot it, it can...

I loved PB3 so insanely much and I am so dissappointed that this addon does not live up to it's name.

PB3 was unique because of it's near-infinite possibilities regarding configurations - that's what people wanted - that's why it was so loved by many.
This doesn't even offer different layouts for seperate unitframes...

Listen: I don't want my pet looking exactly as I do - I don't want debuffs to look the same on my own portrait and on my target's.
PB3 made all this possible... but PS4 - meh... back to X-Perl.

Look under "Modules > Hide Blizzard Frames" and make sure raid is un-check. You will then be able to see the new raid frames.

Pitbull seems to be disabling the new Blizzard raid window - the one that slides out from the left of the screen. Is there some way to turn this back on with the current version of Pitbull?
