Getting Started:
You can help translate PitBull for your language with the localization tool.
Classic
PitBull works with WoW Classic! Classic Era/Vanilla is supported in
v4.3.x-vanilla releases. Cataclysm Classic is supported in v4.2.x releases
(the same releases retail use).
Classic Era caveats:
- Aura duration is not available from the API, so PitBull uses LibClassicDurations to show them. The duration can be inaccurate if it's affected by rank or talents.
- Cast info is only available for your spells from the API. PitBull uses LibClassicCasterino to show cast bars for other units, but this can be inaccurate since there is a lot of guess-work involved.

Posted Aug 14, 2018It's actually artifact power :p The AP bar and LuaTexts have been updated to use the new azerite events so It should work just like it did in Legion except it'll be tracking the necklace.

I'm just wondering if there's a way to disable the class/race text on target bars (leaving just the level text or, if not that, just the level and race text. While this is useful for players (e.g. Level 110 Draenei Paladin), it looks a bit out of place for a lot of NPCs (e.g. for a random mountain goat it might say Level 90 Warrior Goat) as they don't actually conform to any classes. I've tried to look through the settings but can't seem to find it, if it is an option. Thanks for any help and for such a well made addon!

Posted Aug 14, 2018In the layout options under the Texts tab, switch the current text to "Lua:Class" then you can change the code dropdrown to "Class: Player classes only"

Posted Aug 3, 2018I've used and loved pitbull since vanilla but could I ask for one change? I play on 34" monitor now in windowed mode, and some times open my clients on my second 24" monitor or often have multiple clients open in various size windows. It drives me nuts having to drag my Unit frames around depending on what res I have a particular client open. BT4 changes size dynamically and stays in place..... could you would you Please make pitbull do the same?

Posted Aug 4, 2018In the position tab you can change the relative anchor so it's an edge/corner instead of center if thats more appropriate. Sorry, I doubt I'll be able to look into what I'd need to change with the positioning code anytime soon.

First off thanks for such an amazing addon.
I don't know if i'm just being stupid but I can't seem to find the option to change bar colour based on threat. Any bar that has threat will go red, which I would like to turn off. I think it's possible as I believe I've done it before.

Posted Jul 20, 2018Is there any way to show class specific power (soul shards etc) as bars, rather than icons?
https://www.curseforge.com/wow/addons/pitbull4_inlinepower/screenshots used to do this but it's broken since 8.0.1 and I love the way it looks.

Still heard nothing back from the Author of InlinePower.
I did notice that a request was created 3 months ago, asking for the same feature as InlinePower used to provide, but there's been no reply to that request.

Posted Jul 18, 2018Because it's common for them to be positioned as a group. You can change it to be relative to the game window (or any other frame) in the Units Position tab if that's what you'd prefer.
