PitBull Unit Frames 4.0

Getting Started:

You can help translate PitBull for your language with the localization tool.

Classic

PitBull works with WoW Classic! Classic Era/Vanilla is supported in v4.3.x-vanilla releases. Cataclysm Classic is supported in v4.2.x releases (the same releases retail use).

Classic Era caveats:

Aura duration is not available from the API, so PitBull uses LibClassicDurations to show them. The duration can be inaccurate if it's affected by rank or talents.
Cast info is only available for your spells from the API. PitBull uses LibClassicCasterino to show cast bars for other units, but this can be inaccurate since there is a lot of guess-work involved.

Go to Modules > Hide Blizzard Frames and check Buffs/debuffs.

However, I can't find out why I can't right click off buffs anymore.

The AuraBar module isn't built in, never has been. You can find it here:

Not sure what sort of state it is in, author is on a WoW break.

See the various other posts about this. It's been protected by Blizzard. We can't provide the features our aura module does and allow you to click it off. Look for some sort of solution coming in the future.

Yes, make another raid group and set it the filter to only show main tanks.

You need to create a group for the raid frames. Take a look at the guide linked above. It'll walk you through the process.

Ive got party frames to show, but cant get raid frames to appear. Never used pitbull 4, was using pitbull 3 before. Any idea how to enable them. Tried changing config mode and it doesnt make any appear as well as actually being in a raid.

Is it possible you haven't updated in a very long time and possibly have the wrong filters set. We made a change quite a while back that altered some filtering settings. Check your frames filters for when they show to make sure they're configured properly.

I mean updated PB4, there's only been one updated (beta12) since 4.0.1 and without it you won't have working group frames.

@flyinion Shove something like this in your code _G.AKF = 'AFK' you can turn DND from Busy into DND with _G.DND = 'DND'

I think it was 3.3 that Blizzard changed the built in translations for AFK and DND to Away and Busy.

@porovaara, They're configured under texts in the layout editor. If you want to remove things within the texts you can look at the LuaTexts documentation linked under Pages or the several LuaTexts threads that are linked in the FAQ. If you would prefer DogTags back you can go into Modules, LuaTexts and turn it off and then go to Modules, DogTagTexts and turn it on.

Buffs/Debuffs are disabled/unchecked by default. The wierd thing is, on my warrior are buffs like normal, on my warlock, priest and DK none visible except those on the pitbull target frames.

Btw, I´m missing some skins.
