PitBull Unit Frames 4.0
PitBull Unit Frames 4.0
Woof. Arf. Yip.
Getting Started:
You can help translate PitBull for your language with the localization tool.
Classic
PitBull works with WoW Classic! Classic Era/Vanilla is supported in
v4.3.x-vanilla
releases. Cataclysm Classic is supported in v4.2.x
releases
(the same releases retail use).
Classic Era caveats:
- Aura duration is not available from the API, so PitBull uses LibClassicDurations to show them. The duration can be inaccurate if it's affected by rank or talents.
- Cast info is only available for your spells from the API. PitBull uses LibClassicCasterino to show cast bars for other units, but this can be inaccurate since there is a lot of guess-work involved.

Somebody there can help me getting it removed`?
I can't seem to get the combo points to show up on my rogue's player frame. Combo points show up just fine on the target frame though. Any thoughts? Thanks.
Also why in the world do I not have an option to show the mobs level in colors like gray, green, yellow and red according to level difference?
I agree that there's no real use in it. Thanks for the quick answer anyhow.
The colors are intended to be informational. If you don't want informational colors just set a custom color. I'm not implementing class colors for NPCs because it's fundamentally worthless.
Well the green/yellow/red pattern kinda breaks the symmetry I got with class colours. But is there a way to make the colourscheme appear as warrior/mage/paladin?
NPCs don't really have a class. I realize that some NPCs behave like certain classes, but the game always provides NPC classes as Warrior, Paladin or Mage. Which isn't particularly useful. So I can't really imagine why anyone would want to color by class for NPCs.
Isn't it possible to have NPCs' healthbars showing in classcolor? Annoying problem..
edit. I got "Color by Class" and "Color PVP by Class" checked, none of the other ones in the active layout.
I like to use the long version of health & percentage and so most of the time only half of the name is shown.
thx
@Mydr, tell me how you did what you wanted with PB3 and I might be able to point you in the right direction.
@Ventriloquist, You can use the IsMouseOver() function in your LuaTexts code. If you take a look at the wowace forums thread or the elitistjerks thread on LuaTexts you should be able to find some examples using this.
Will PB4 eventually include an option to show text elements on mouse hover? I'd like to suppress health/power numbers when not hovering over the frame.
(If this is possible, but just not exposed in the configuration panel, please point me in the right direction.)
Very pleased with the overall progress with the rewrite, folks, excellent work.
