PitBull Unit Frames 4.0
PitBull Unit Frames 4.0
Woof. Arf. Yip.
Getting Started:
You can help translate PitBull for your language with the localization tool.
Classic
PitBull works with WoW Classic! Classic Era/Vanilla is supported in
v4.3.x-vanilla
releases. Cataclysm Classic is supported in v4.2.x
releases
(the same releases retail use).
Classic Era caveats:
- Aura duration is not available from the API, so PitBull uses LibClassicDurations to show them. The duration can be inaccurate if it's affected by rank or talents.
- Cast info is only available for your spells from the API. PitBull uses LibClassicCasterino to show cast bars for other units, but this can be inaccurate since there is a lot of guess-work involved.

thanks bro : )
Hi : )
[TalentSpec(unit="player")] is broken?
Thanks for the great work man. ^_^
Hey!
I've a problem with placing the portrait: I want to use it as bar on top of a frame about 200 wide and 40 high as 3D model. So, with most of classes there are only the eyes shown as intended. But with dwarfs (and as a matter of fact, this is my char...) i can only see the nose and his upper beard, because the whole face is positioned higher than all other portraits (inside its portrait frame of course).
So my question: is there a way to move the portrait (especially of dwarfes) a little lower, say 10-20px?
Thanks, me
2nd thing: can I mirror the 3D portraits vertically, so they will always "look" to the center of the screen when placed left or right on my screen?
I have no intention to add a ton of options to the Portrait module to deal with stuff like that. If you want to get that picky you'll need to use something like ZMobDB:

@myrroddin
LibBanzai has already been fixed. http://www.wowace.com/addons/libbanzai-2-0/files/22-r43/
If you're going to run without embedded dependencies it's really up to you guys to look for alphas on the libraries.
The GetNumPartyMembers and GetNumRaidMembers bugs are related to LibBanzai-2.0, and I posted a bug report.
@Yimmeryams
Done in the latest alpha.
@N30Ex
Upgrade to the alpha version. The current release version doesn't have beta support in it.
in beta keep having alot of error popping caused by 'GetNumPartyMembers' (a nil value) ;) just log in beta and u get stormed by it XD
@Shefki
Shefki, I would... but of course I completed the quest by simply disabling the mod. Its probably about an hour or so into the jade Forest. If I have time to retest later I will.
@derevka
Can you try with the latest alpha and see if it works correctly now. I just fixed a long standing bug with it that should help but I may need to do more to deal with the vehicle situation (I doubt it from looking at our code, but I could be wrong).
Alternate power does not seem to be working correctly. For example the meditation quest in Jade Forest you have to keep your Alt Power Bar centered by using the vehicle commands.
however with PitBull enabled, the bar does not show regardless of configuration (ie. I have it turned on for my character frame, to appear below my mana/energy bar). Disabling pitbull the alt bar shows.
@nickstaroba
It was an optimization decision to remove the container frame around the Auras. I may add it back in at some point but at this time I don't have definitive plans to change this.
@JCinDE
Haven't added that yet. Want to do it securely. I should get to it this weekend.
It seems my unit frames aren't hiding when a pet battle starts. Is there some known easy fix for this?
Great add-on! I don't know if I even need to do this but I'd like to make a request if I'm not wrong in my assumption.
I use KGPanels and Pitbull. I use KGPanel to adjust its panels and the relative positions of Pitbull's frames through various snippets of Setpoint code. This works great for all the unit frames; when I change resolutions, they go right to where I need them in relation to my screen.
The problem I've run into is that the Auras have no anchoring frame (if that's the correct way to put it). I'd like to position the Auras independently of the Unit frame itself rather than set it to 200px away for example. I want to set it to 10px above one of my KGPanels so that when I change resolutions, it goes back to the same place. Hopefully that description is clear enough.
Now, when I hit /framestack, I do not see any frames other than each individual Aura's frame, which makes it rather difficult to position the whole set. I know I could do this with some more intricate code, but I'm not much of a Lua coder just yet.
Would it be possible in the next version of Pitbull (for MoP) to have a named frame that I could then work with? Or maybe some other solution comes to mind? (I'd rather not get yet another add-on to handle auras, Pitbull does just fine and I like to keep things minimal.
Thanks for your time.

I don't maintain the DogTags project. So if there are any issues with it someone else is going to have to fix it.
Hey, my dog tags arent working properly. Will there any fix in the near future?

Alright, this option was too obvious :X Thanks alot! Everything's working fine now.
@Hamb
Get the alpha. It has a lot more changes than what daf2's quick and dirty update had.
