Getting Started:

You can help translate PitBull for your language with the localization tool.

Classic

PitBull works with WoW Classic! Classic Era/Vanilla is supported in v4.3.x-vanilla releases. Cataclysm Classic is supported in v4.2.x releases (the same releases retail use).

Classic Era caveats:

Aura duration is not available from the API, so PitBull uses LibClassicDurations to show them. The duration can be inaccurate if it's affected by rank or talents.
Cast info is only available for your spells from the API. PitBull uses LibClassicCasterino to show cast bars for other units, but this can be inaccurate since there is a lot of guess-work involved.

In the Majordomo Fight the PowerBar of Domo is "jumping" vom value to value (0 - 21 - 34 - ....)
Is there a way to increase the refresh frequency of the PowerBar to make it more smoothly ?

I have a question.

I've just tried Pitbull for the first time, it seems great.

I can set it up exactly as I want it with the config mode on (solo), but because of the relative bar thickness the bars become way bigger than I want them while I'm not in config mode. If the bars are not in use, their spaces are ignored, so the health and energy bars become stretched.

Oddly, this isn't the case for the cast bar, which seems always to have a spot on the unit frame.

Any way around this? I'd love if I could either:

Set an absolute size for bar thicknesses, or
Keep the empty space reserved for un-used bars.

Any ideas?

To your second part, you need to set up a custom filter for the auras you want to see. There is a section on the guide linked above that deals specifically with auras that should be able to help you out.

I shall have to get back to you on the healing issue. Its pre-coffee time and I'm not remembering everything like I should. :\

I have a couple questions. Is there a working predictive healing module as the setup I have now will put giant white bars across my screen when I heal. Secondly, how do I configure PB to show me bleeds? I have it set up at the moment to show me things I can dispel/remove only but that leaves off bleeds which is a huge issue at times. Thanks!

Is there an ETA on the official fix? I already am aware of the conflict once an official fix is released, but reversing what I already have implemented is quite easy.

Unofficial Boss Frame Support for Pitbull:

This is just (hopefully) a temporary implementation until it's officially supported. If you're worried about messing anything up, backup your files before editing them. This has been working fine for me without any issues for the past two weeks.

First mention of adding boss frame support was late 2009, I'm not sure it'll be added anytime soon. I still hope they'll officially support this at some point, but they've been fairly busy RL by the looks of things.

It is still something we are officially working on. One thing to keep in mind with that unofficial fix is that it will likely cause issues when the official fix is released if things are done in a different way.

Is there a way to not show buffs/debuffs on specific unit frames? ie: pet bar/pet target bar?
Is there a way to only show my debuffs or my buffs?

The answer to both your questions is YES.

For your first question you just need to make a new layout for those frames and turn off the auras (buffs/debuffs). The guide linked above can help you with that.

For your second question, there should be a pre-built filter for just your buffs and just your debuffs on the filtering tab of the auras section. If you find you need additional help or want to build a custom filter, there is a section of the guide linked above that deals specifically with auras.

I was wondering, is there any way to disable Pitbull suppressing Blizzards default alternate power bar if I want to keep the graphics of it, while still having the altenate power bar on my Pitbull unit frame?

Go to /pb > Modules > HIde Blizzard Frames and uncheck Alternate Power bar.

You should see both.
