This project is abandoned and its default file will likely not work with the most recent version of World of Warcraft. Whether this project is out of date or its author has marked it as abandoned, this project is no longer maintained.
I must admit I actually love this addon! Since I found it I can't imagine to play without it. I'm kind of worried that it might not be updated for the new patch since I read that you can't contact the original author. I really hope, you still won't abandon TrainingWheels!
I already tested it a little with my affli-warlock. I was glad to notice, that it can still be used, although there are some errors I noticed.
First off, the addon can't distinguish, whether it was me who cast the spells or another warlock. (It assumes it was me and deletes the spells from my list.) Is it possible, that this is because you can now see the duration of other players spells on the target?
There also seem to be quite some issues with player buffs. I'm getting lua error messages whenever the talents 'nightfall' and 'improved shadow bolt' are activated. The messages stop appearing when 'shadow trance' or 'shadow power' (not sure I translated this correctly) are over. The messages also appear when I mouse over or target some players. I didn't notice the error with any players that had no buffs, although not all players with buffs produced the error. Therefore I couldn't find out which buffs are responsible.
The message always read:
"Interface\AddOns\TrainingWheels\TrainingWheels.lua:2454: bad argument #1 to 'min' (number expected, got string)"
I'm using the latest version of the addon: TrainingWheels-r52693.81.
I really hope, my description is of help for continuing this wonderful addon! I'm looking forward to a new version!
Forget what I said in the first comment. The addon doesn't work anymore. It produces too many errors. Sadly, it doesn't seem like it's ever going to be updated again.
If anyone has been able to contact Babu, original author of this addon, please let me know ! I'm trying to communicate with him .. I'm making an attempt to extend this addon. Improvements so far include localization support, combo point status, and making the code more modular. Right now, I made an alpha branch called LazyToon at google code, please have him email me avi dot silterra at gmail.com .
