GotWood
GotWood
GotWood is a totem timer addon written with ace2 which provides 3 different views: - CandyBar: nice bars which are used in many ace2 addons like bigwigs etc - Buttons: The old view every shaman knows ;) - Circle: If you have circle buttons, this is the right choice maybe
If you want another view, just try to implement it yourself. It's very easy, just look at the 3 included views.
Configuration
The configuration window can be accessed with 2 ways: - /gotwood: You can change all options through the slash command - Right-click the frame: Same options are provided here, but graphically using dewdrop
Lock the frame to hide the background texture and header text.

Posted Mar 16, 2008An (official) version for both current 2.3 AND patch 2.4 is currently on the wowace subversion repository. New features include:
- More accurate totem death detection as well as more accurate timers.
- It will be possible to destroy single totems by rightclicking on them.
- It will also be working with new or modified totems from the start should Blizzard change or add any totem.
It will be eventually packaged up and posted here on curse by Moonsorrow I think.

Posted Sep 27, 2007I think your problem has to do with your WTF file not saving correctly once you leave the game. You may try and delete your WTF folder and reseting your addons. Or if you are on a Vista computer move the WoW folder out of the C:\Program Files folder and just into C:\, then make sure the folder isn't write-protected.

Posted Jul 20, 2007I will upload a new version once it works here. But even in this new version there will be no direct support for the waterfall library, it's not necessary, and if you really want it, just download the waterfall addon where you can configure everything.

Posted Jul 18, 2007I must saw this is one of my favorite mods for my shaman, but it's lack of features is making it a bit out of date. There is many library's out there that can get the timers for you and then input them into yours. A simple waterfall layout for options using AceGUI wouldn't be that hard to add. Your already got it set for Ace library why not add a few simple things to make this mod an outstanding mod and not just a nice mod to see timers with virtually no options besides trying to guess what to input where in the lua file.

Posted Jul 16, 2007no problem to change the duration of the totems... simply open the GotWood addon folder, open the GotWood_data.lua with any texteditor, find the line of your totem and change the duration to the right duration.

Posted May 29, 2007@utwarreng:
It works just fine for me, even in 2.1
Just edit the "GotWood_Data.lua" file to set the new timers and follow the steps about the Searing Totem, what Redempshin has written.

Posted Mar 22, 2007Great Mod. Is it possible, when it's set to use timer bars, to have them grow up from the bottom instead of the top or in specific spots? I like to put the timers at the bottom of my screen, so that would look nicer.

Posted Feb 13, 2007Is it possible to add in tracking of our greater earth and fire elemental totems? 2 minute timers, can exist at the same time as their associated elemental totem.

Posted Feb 13, 2007If you get an error, or no tracking of the top (i think level 70) Searing Totem Rank 7 in your got wood, follow the steps below.
open up your GotWood_Data.lua file. GotWoodData[BS["Searing Totem"]][6].duration = 55
immediately below that, add in. GotWoodData[BS["Searing Totem"]][7] = {} GotWoodData[BS["Searing Totem"]][7].duration = 60

Posted Feb 6, 2007Another mispelling in the french part of the Bable Spell library (this is the file named "Babble-Spell-2.2.lua" located in one of the subfolders of the addon). This bug prevent the Earth Elemental Totem to show up in GotWood? when playing on a french client.
The line 2716 of this library should be :
["Earth Elemental Totem"] = "Totem \195\169l\195\169mentaire de terre",
(just remove the two characters " d' " in front of the first \195 occurence...)
See you later if I found another mispelling ;-) Thanks for including the previous one (Totemic Call) in the latest version of the library.
For the Horde!
