Dock
Dock is an addon that, as the name suggest, allows you to shrink and dock other frames into it. On mouseover frames can be zoomed in letting you take a good look at their contents.
Features: Virtually infinite amount of docks, or just one if you'd like Practically any frame can be docked by just dragging and dropping Highly customizable: colors, animations, orientations and more Tabbing feature that lets docks be collapsed even further Load on demand configuration, no reason to waste that memory

Other than that, this is awesome! Just a shame I cant use it due to fact I raid alot!
Somethings wrong with the 0.7 link. Tried several times to download it but eachtime I don't get a zip file but some unreadable file.
That's strange, it was working fine. I reuploaded it as .7b and it seems to be working fine now.

It is great but some problems has come up .
Sometimes some frame will be lock while i'm trying to drag them into the dock .
And sizing may be uncontrollable sometimes , i mean that when i want to size the
dock it may become too large to get it small .
Anyhow it is great and it will be better if user can creat own module just like the
chat module now.
My poor english ^_^
There's just one bug that anoys me. Thats the bug saying you need to resize, even I do then it wont allow me to put my Threatmeter inside. (Omen)
it forgets where my chat log was origionally at after a few minutes and just throws it in the middle of the screen :(
Are you using a chat mod of some sort, or possibly some mod that re-anchors frames? If another mod keeps changing a docked frame Dock will eventually give up and release the frame.
Great addon! It's about time something like this was released.
I'd not mind an option for a preset zoom amount on mouseover; by this, I mean that there should be an option whereby mouseovers zoom directly to a preset amount, instead of the rather disconcerting "zoom-change-on-mouse-move" currently implemented.
The only bug I've seen so far is with the chat input dialog (which is apparently attached to the "General" chat tab). The dialog resizes width-wise according to the width of the dock (which, considering how I've set my "chat windows" dock, is rather short) and produces an incorrectly-rendered dialog border on a small dock. This means that every time I want to type something, I have to undock the "General" tab, type my message and send it, then redock the tab, just so I can properly see what I am typing. If you could figure out a way to detach the input dialog from the "General" chat tab and allow it to function independantly, this addon would be complete, IMHO.
Other than that, I'm very impressed, and agree that Microsloth should have thought of this for Windblows, instead of that stupid rotating-window-switcher they did for Vista. Keep up the good work!
Thanks for the feedback. If I'm understanding correctly you'd rather have the frames zoom instantly, instead of the OSX-like zoom as mouse gets closer? Shouldn't be particularly difficult to add as an option.
For that chat window I'm hesitant to 'fix' that because it borders on being beyond the scope of Dock. However, I will consider adding some type of option to the Chat Windows module.
Hey there, just sat and toyed abit with it, and im really REALLY amused. It's wonderfull, thats a program/addon I even could use for my Windows Deskop, It's a amezing addon. Perfect some some like me who have a rather cludderet screen. and with all the fuctions builded in, so damnt awesome! 5/5
That is intended :)
It works a lot like the Dock on Macintoshes where you can expand just by mousing-over. That way you can get a closer look.
Basic functionality unfortunately failed for me. :/ I was unable to place the minimap in a dock if I resized it to anything but the initial size/shape. Even when I made the dock a gigantic rectangle covering 90% of the screen, Dock told me the minimap was too big to be placed in it. But if I leave the dock's size alone after creating it, in that little skinny vertical rectangle, I can put the minimap in it no problem.

It explains how frames get resized when docked. Additionally, there's options in the advanced tab that will force frames to a certain size.
very impressive add on, will certainly try it out. This must have been a lot of work!
I've been looking forward to testing this AddOn for a long time! You have no idea how excited I am about the release :)
