This project is abandoned and its default file will likely not work with the most recent version of World of Warcraft. Whether this project is out of date or its author has marked it as abandoned, this project is no longer maintained.

PLEASE NOTE: the cast bars in 2.1 are only 100% accurate for your target and focus. For other enemies, they are only approximations based on combat log events.

What is it? - Simple enemy unit frames for Arena matches used for identifying and coordinating targets

Features:

With 2.0 most of the previous features are still present, and some new ones have been added.

Race icons added, some buff/debuff tracking, grow direction, more announcements, talent spec inspection removed, and more.

Proximo's new features include allowing for bindings on Mouse3,4,5. This is something long requested, and can be seen here in the menu.

- Unit tracking via mouse over, target, party targets, death messages, name plate updates, and optional syncing between all teammates

- Main Assist setting and syncing, shown by yellow outline on current Main Assist target.

- Optional New Enemy and Low Health announcements via Chat, Party, RaidWarning, SCT, or MSBT.

- Optional Focus setting via right click.

- Optional Mana bars.

- Optional Party Targets.

- Optional Talent Display

- Minor frame customizations: size, font, texture, header, etc...

For Spells, give the spell name just like you would in a macro. Example: Dispel, Dispel(Rank 1)

For Macros, use ; to break lines and *t to insert the targets name. Example: /target *t;/cast Dispel

Where did it come from? - After using ArenaMaster for a long time, I decided to make my own Arena based mod based some some ideas from myself and friends.

How do I use it? - Unzip Proximo into your interface\addons directory. For more info on installing, please read install.txt. Type /prox test to see a test frame when not in arena. Alt+left click header to move. Right click header for options.

What happens if an enemy is first seen after combat starts? - They will still be shown and synced, however you will not be able to target them by clicking on their bar. This will be designated with **'s around their name (ex. ** Grayhoof ** ).

Does Proximo work with HealBot loaded? My brother had heard somewhere that they conflict and can't be run together.

Hey m8 can u update it pls. Btw when Hunter do Feign Death after that his bar shows him as dead but if u click him u can still see him as target.

Tried this today and as soon as the match started I got a massive error about not having some DK class file or something. What ever it was it crashed my computer and we lost.

I am a mage and when fighting a frost mage in 2v2 an error constantly occurs and it says it will compare to nil values. To be honest it's not that big of a deal but it's just something you could fix if you felt like it. Also I think it has to do with frost mage talents.

Reporting another hp bar bug. Can't figure out how to fix it. But 17473% health isn't very useful - doesn't make the bar graphically any smaller, so I can't tell at a glance who is damaged.

Can you suggest any method that enables us to use macros that are more than 255 characters long with Proximo? I have tried branching to a larger macro with "/click" but then I couldn't find a way to identify the target of those macros as whichever proximo frame I have selected (neither mouseover or *t work). If Proximo doesn't include this feature yet, a simple solution would just be to make Proximo compatible with the addon "Clique". I know many other unit frames are, so I imagine it wouldn't be a stretch.

I heard about new unitIDs called "arena1", "arena2", etc... Have you played around with these? I think they'd be able to provide you with more informative (and stable) unit frames.

I had an error everytime I mousedover any hostile target in arena using bets v2.33 when I upgraded to beta v2.4 today, proximo would not pick up any targets upon mouseover and then on ocassions it would instantly fill the proximo frame without me ever mouseovering any target (I believe this was triggered from my partner doing so but I coouldn't confirm since they we're just skirmishes). I'm positive these we're not invisible targets btw.

Let me know if you need more details about it, I will try to provide as much as I can.

Proximo no longer does anything based off mousing over targets while in arena. They should all show up as soon as the match starts (doors open) or as soon as they are visible. It does appear to sometimes miss one target at the start, but they will show up as soon as they are damaged. New release will fix that soon.

my partner has v2.321 and i have the latest beta 2.4
Sometimes in 2v2, one of the opponents doesn't show up in the proximo frame, even when not yet in combat.
i'll try to give more information later

kubusiu, if they are stealth or invis, they will not show up until they are visible, but you will be able to click on them as soon as they show, even if in combat. If that is not what you are describing, then please do follow up with more details when you can.

2 opponents are visible when the gates open. But only 1 of them shows in the proximo frame, i try to mouseover or click the opponent that should be shown in the frame but it still doesn't appear in the frame. This has already happened several times.
Also, sometimes when i click in the proximo frame on 1 of the opponent bar, it doesn't do anything(it should select it). Left click is the default "select" option...

Please try the new 2.41 beta released today and see if things improve around one unit not appearing and selection.
