QuestHubber
Now updated for Mists of Pandaria
QuestHubber is an addon that was designed to show pinpoints on the world map of all the quests you've missed. Between data personally collected by myself, data submitted from other users, and data that I obtained from Wowhead via a crawler script, there are over 7,000 quests for Alliance and Horde from every zone and continent in game currently—including the new Cataclysm zones. Because much of the data from the old zones is very new and Wowhead does not seem to be 100% correct, you may notice some incorrect positioning, missing quests, or quests from the opposite faction, but in my experience these problems are not intrusive at all.
Type /qh, /qhub, or /questhubber to access the options.
Features
- Only shows quests you have yet to complete
- Quick toggling of pins via world map
- Optional filtering quests out of level range
- Optional tracking of daily quests
- Optional hiding optional quests you skipped and future quests you cannot access yet (very experimental!)
Note: If you used an older version of QuestHubber, you may also have the addon QuestGather in your AddOns folder. This was an optional addon that was bundled along to help collect data, but it is no longer necessary. Feel free to delete the QuestGather folder.
Have a look at http://www.curse.com/addons/wow/dugi-questing-essential. The only thing it doesn't do from your list is replace Questhubber - and it has quite a few other nice features.
Man i really hope this is going to be updated. makes life so much easier ;-)
Hm, I'm working under windows atm and used the diff-tool from UnxUtils to create the patch and the corresponding patch-tool from the same collection. Worked fine when I tested it, but maybe the differences in line-breaks can make diffs incompatible or something. Whatever the case, I just pasted the whole contents of the modified QuestHubber.lua here:
http://pastebin.com/BjGViyJr
EDIT: A quick googling confirmed, that different linefeed conventions can indeed screw up diffing and patching files. So the error had probably something to do with that,
I have the problem, that the addon shows me all the quest in Pandaria, even the ones I have finish, why is that ?
Thank you for this!
Wonderful Addon, saves me hours of time.
Greetings Slaxi
in the vale of eternal blossoms i still see quest pins on the map at the golden pagoda...but as we all know the sha has been his work in the vale of eternal blossoms and the golden pagoda is gone as wel as the quest givers on that spot so yeah ...its nice for updating this addon but then also update that part and it doesnt show some dailies for me for example: Setting sun garrison in the vale of eternal blossoms ;)...doesnt matter if i check hide or show dailies it wont pop up ;)

Update: BTW: if you really dont know what your missing and you still cant figure it out, just submit a ticket and ask if they can tell you ... a GM may or may not...
Please update for 5.4.1 version!
I went through wowhead and still have no clue to find out what quests I've missed that caused me unable to
progress legendary cloak quest chain! I'm so lost without this addon!
I'm just now getting back into WoW and noticed that QuestHubber is outdated. Will there be an update soon?
Needs a Patch 5.4 Siege of Orgrimmar update please.
Thanks and great addon.
QuestHubber works on 5.3 patch. Need hands.dll intstead gamerhands.dll and turn on old addons in ingame addon manager.
Thank you for this addon. It is incredibly useful. Unfortunately there are a lot of bugs and outdated data. I hope the new versions, they will be corrected. What I found made in the form of screenshots, archived and posted on file sharing, here's the link - http://www.load.to/HJVwNwKDdC/Screens.zip and I hope this information is useful.
Ever since the 5.3 patch I cannot get Questhubber to load in WOW. That was my favorite addon and I have been looking and looking and nothing compares. Please upgrade it or tell me what I am doing wrong. All my other addons are still working and new ones I have tried worked too, just not Questhubber:(
I've been searching for an addon like this for a long time. This is one of my must-haves, now.
I've been going for lore master from scratch, and I can tell you that the only quest you forgot so far is Mist, in Teldrassil. He's a panther companion of Arynia Cloudsbreak that you must escort back to her. Other than this, this is the best addon I've picked up in years. I didn't even know about it. I love how you can mouse over an enemy and see if it drops a quest item. Burning Crusade added a crapload of these types of quests. I never would have found half those quests in Bloodmyst Isle without this addon.
Anyway, enough blabbling. I just wanted to thank you for the amazing work you've done!
Hello I just started using questhubber recently and its the best add on I have but when they rolled WOW to 5.3 version it stopped working. Their appear to be no quest tracking currently at all. Also I noticed above it says to acess options you need to type /questhubber where are you supposed to type this in at. I assumed it was in the game itself so I typed it their trying to see if their was any settings I could change to get it to work with Wow version 5.3 and nothing happens it acts like its not their at all. Thank you for your time and for such a great add on I hope that I will get to use it in the future as for now ill go back to not having a clue where I need to go. LOL

Will they be updating this for version 5.3 soon as it updated to 5.3 this add on stopped working and it hasnt been updated yet. I just want to know if thier going to update it so that i know weather to keep it or remove it from my addons i hope they update it because this is the most useful add on i have found
I'm commenting here for a bit of feedback, but first, I want to thank you for this amazing job. I just downloaded it for the first time in 5.2, and it looks incredibly useful.
Now here's the feedback:
As a lvl 90 Goblin Rogue (Horde), I've found a tricky quest for this addon. There are two identical quest in Hyjal, just in case the giver of the first one disappears (as you can never get it to appear again), but they have different IDs.
http://www.wowhead.com/quest=25617 and http://www.wowhead.com/quest=25624
The thing is that when you complete the first quest, the second giver doesn't give it anymore (and if you are taking it from the second giver, it probably means that the first giver is gone already), and it gets stuck in the quest count of Mount Hyjal. Could you add something to make the addon count those 2 quest as a single one, or something like that?
Thanks for the great job, and keep it up! This AddOn is amazing :D
I have a strange issue. The tracker works perfectly all all my characters except my warlock. No matter what quest I accept, it never shows up on the tracker with my lock.
