RaidWatch 2
Raid Watch 2
Raid Watch is an addon for tracking events during boss fights in both raid and 5-men dungeons. It will keep track of important boss cooldowns, warn for events that requires the users attention and inform about some things that happen around him. It will do this in the form of timer bars, sounds, big warning text accompanied with a screen flash for the most important stuff and small text messages for less important things, direction arrow and more.
Raid Watch also have some functionality that is useful outside of boss fights, such as in game eqDKP display.
I have decided to disable the comments on curse.com since they are hard to keep track of, so instead:

From version 1.46 there is now a new module that handles the new alternate power bar that blizzard added. This bar is used in a few encounters and quests so far, for example Cho'gall for the corruption and Atramedes for the sound bar. This new plugin let you position it, or hide it completely and instead show a normal bar using the multi-purpose bar plugin that is used for health bars and other small things atm. The options for this plugin can be found under Plugins -> Alternate Power Bar.

Features
- Timer bars Gives an easy overview of given events during an encounter
- All timers will move between 2 or 3 anchors depending on their the length of the duration they have left. These anchors can be moved freely and placed individually. You can also configure at what duration they should move to each anchor.
- Personal warnings Easy to react to message that is only shown to yourself when it concerns you
- Messages Messages show about events happening to the raid or the boss in question.
- Health frames Shows the current health of the boss, and also npcs when usefull. Can also be used to show other things besides health. One example i the Blood Power stacks in the Deathbringer Saurfang encounter.
- Raid marking Automatic raid marks for important events that happen to players or NPCs.
- Directions For some events you will get arrows pointing towards the point of interest.
- Customization
- Each event that is tracked in an encounter have detailed settings where you can turn of messages, timers and icons individually depending on your current role.
- Colors and sounds can be individually set for each type of warning for each event.
- Fonts, textures and colors can also be set on a global space to be able to make fast changes and have a uniform look of all objects.
- Statistics You can see how many times you have done each encounter, how many times you defeated it, how many wipes. You can also see your fastest kill so far. All this is recorded separately for 10- and 25-men raid and also for normal and heroic.
- Load on Demand All boss mods are in their own modules and are not loaded into memory until they are needed, and this will be done automatically. But can also be loaded manually if needed for configuration before raids.
Including mods for
- The Ruby Sanctum
- Icecrown Citadell
- Crusaders Coliseum
- Ulduar
- Vault of Archavon
- 5-men
- Forge of Souls
- Pit of Saron
- Trial of the Champion
Localization
Raid Watch 2 is fully or partially translated to most languages, but could use some more people to help with the translation as they are important to make the mods to work for all languages. At any point where boss emotes or yells are used as triggers it will or may not work on other clients. But things that only rely on combat log events will still work.
If you want to contribute to the localization simply go to the Localization page or click the localization tab up top and then on your language and start translating. It is open for anyone as long as you have an account here.

@Elvenbreeze Added in r588 as a duration timer, also works as a cooldown since they are the same.
Maybe I've missed something in the settings, but I cannot find a timer for Sindragosas Unchained Magic. If there is none, could it be added?
last 3 updates, commits show on notes a folder that doesnt exist on the file we download
trunk/RaidWatch_Tracker/Prototypes/
Also seen that you are trying to implement a raid tracker, will this be able to export DKP strings as well, with all the normal functions, like Loot Prices, Attendance and waiting list, boss kill, etc...
to make this the best addon ever u should included a combatlog puglin similar to autolog, then a Raid leader would an all-in-one addon.
im very excited about the tracker, cause headcount is not being updated anymore
Will probably disable comments here and on curse in favor of the forum instead. This is because it's very hard to keep track of replies and so on without proper threads, especially on curse.com
@rantank
Good to hear!
Used the r537 version in ICC today and the lock ups on Professor Putricide phase changes I was experiencing previously are gone. Thanks.
I don't follow. The Raid Watch health frames show the Corporeality status that uses the Raid Watch bar look. Maybe you haven't updated recently?
Anyway, should be a release version of 1.28 this evening if no bugs are found by then.
Yeah.. but i like your bars so much better than anyone else's lol. They have such a good looking flow to them.
@slickwalker
Isnt the health frame showing the % enough?
@lrdx
Raging spirits was change, they now spawn instantly so its not possible to warn before they spawn anylonger.
Does RW2 warn during Lich King fight for raging spirits only when they pop out of the target?
I've used DXE and DBM before, both warned me 4s earlier, so I could run to the tank before the spirit pops out, but now with RW2 I got spirits without any warning - If I'm not looking something over totally, can you please add this early warning? (Or please tell me if I did something wrong.)
Something for Halion would be brilliant.

It works then it breaks, then it works again but something else is broken. I just want to have a fully functional addon again without the need to run DBM as a backup incase this mod doesn't show timers once again.
Main issues yesterday were that it wasn't showing stacks for tank debuffs on purtricide.
Perhaps another addon is interfering with it but usually the acegui-factory is the culprit. Sometimes clicking on options for particular bosses like timers, etc, will just cause an error. The distance box looks like shit now with the giant title bar and it doesn't show/hide automatically like it used to when engaging a boss.
Overall this addon has become so very unreliable in the last month that I'm about ready to give up on it.
Libraries works that way that the latest one is always used. So even if Raid Watch is working fine on itself while I am testing and so on, it can later stop working when some other addon uses the same libraries but was updated later and therefore have a later version of the library overwriting the one Raid Watch supplies. In most cases when libraries are updated they only change how they work internally and does not break anything, but this months that has not been the case.
But in general if you are using the alpha versions you will have to be prepared for errors, no way around it. Also the first thing you have to do if you get errors is to restart your client if you only did a reload of the UI, because sometimes there are new files used and they don't get loaded until the game is restarted. If you want to be more safe then use beta or release (even if it was the release version that broke down this time due to the library update).
Finally I am sorry that it have caused to much trouble lately and we will try and minimize it in the future. It will also help that we are now 2 people working on this project since the last few days, and I hope this will improve the stability a lot.
@tlai The default settings for all abilites in mods that will be made along the way will be the most common settings. For example the default settings for Lady Deathwhispers Touch of Insignificance will be that its only visible for tanks, or any for of warning for Soul Reaper is visible by default for tanks and healers.
But most warnings will be enabled for all roles, and then you have the ability to disable them for certain roles as you you want it.
@f1reburn its not a logger head replacement. we are trying to work around a blizzard bug wher ethe combatlog stops working. when it stops working warnings, timers, message no longer have a way to know when spells are cast. Lich king and Halion seem to be the truoble areas.
Is it possible to have a global selection which you can tick then instead of going through each individual skill (but still have the option to select or deselect stuff to customize what you want to see) or is it currently automatically selected and chosen depending on the role shown on the controller?
So what is this combat logger I've been reading about in the change logs? I can't find it in any of the configuration settings, is it some Loggerhead replacement?
Also, how many more features are planned for this addon? It seems to have symptoms of feature creep.
@tlai
The options to select if the warning/timer should be enabled by role is in the detailed options for each ability. For example if you click the details button for soul reaper in the Lich King options. Then on the timers tab, for each timer there is a dropdown list for enabled where you can tick for what roles the timer should be enabled (Tank, Healer, Melee or Caster). The same goes for messages and warnings as well.
I removed a few extra CombatLogReset calls to see if that helps.
memory corruption errors are in the wow client and a know bug in 3.3.5
