RaidWatch 2
Raid Watch 2
Raid Watch is an addon for tracking events during boss fights in both raid and 5-men dungeons. It will keep track of important boss cooldowns, warn for events that requires the users attention and inform about some things that happen around him. It will do this in the form of timer bars, sounds, big warning text accompanied with a screen flash for the most important stuff and small text messages for less important things, direction arrow and more.
Raid Watch also have some functionality that is useful outside of boss fights, such as in game eqDKP display.
I have decided to disable the comments on curse.com since they are hard to keep track of, so instead:

From version 1.46 there is now a new module that handles the new alternate power bar that blizzard added. This bar is used in a few encounters and quests so far, for example Cho'gall for the corruption and Atramedes for the sound bar. This new plugin let you position it, or hide it completely and instead show a normal bar using the multi-purpose bar plugin that is used for health bars and other small things atm. The options for this plugin can be found under Plugins -> Alternate Power Bar.

Features
- Timer bars Gives an easy overview of given events during an encounter
- All timers will move between 2 or 3 anchors depending on their the length of the duration they have left. These anchors can be moved freely and placed individually. You can also configure at what duration they should move to each anchor.
- Personal warnings Easy to react to message that is only shown to yourself when it concerns you
- Messages Messages show about events happening to the raid or the boss in question.
- Health frames Shows the current health of the boss, and also npcs when usefull. Can also be used to show other things besides health. One example i the Blood Power stacks in the Deathbringer Saurfang encounter.
- Raid marking Automatic raid marks for important events that happen to players or NPCs.
- Directions For some events you will get arrows pointing towards the point of interest.
- Customization
- Each event that is tracked in an encounter have detailed settings where you can turn of messages, timers and icons individually depending on your current role.
- Colors and sounds can be individually set for each type of warning for each event.
- Fonts, textures and colors can also be set on a global space to be able to make fast changes and have a uniform look of all objects.
- Statistics You can see how many times you have done each encounter, how many times you defeated it, how many wipes. You can also see your fastest kill so far. All this is recorded separately for 10- and 25-men raid and also for normal and heroic.
- Load on Demand All boss mods are in their own modules and are not loaded into memory until they are needed, and this will be done automatically. But can also be loaded manually if needed for configuration before raids.
Including mods for
- The Ruby Sanctum
- Icecrown Citadell
- Crusaders Coliseum
- Ulduar
- Vault of Archavon
- 5-men
- Forge of Souls
- Pit of Saron
- Trial of the Champion
Localization
Raid Watch 2 is fully or partially translated to most languages, but could use some more people to help with the translation as they are important to make the mods to work for all languages. At any point where boss emotes or yells are used as triggers it will or may not work on other clients. But things that only rely on combat log events will still work.
If you want to contribute to the localization simply go to the Localization page or click the localization tab up top and then on your language and start translating. It is open for anyone as long as you have an account here.

Any chance you can add a warning for 'Dark Sludge'? Its the debuff given from the puddle the oozes drop on Maloriak, and very difficult to see under all the AoE.
Will do, expect a pm in the next few days, I'm still busy testing them properly.
send them to me or mangeg to get them integrated in.
I've added a few things to the heroic 5man boss mods that I was missing. Is there any interest on your side on viewing these additions to the 5mans boss mods? They mostly concern warnings for spells that require interrupts.
Please add Atramedes air phase timer.
It is the controller plugin that does not correctly hide itself atm, I am looking into this as soon as I get time. To fix this temporary you can untick all the "Show" checkboxes in the controller options and then reload your UI.
Im noticing a dead spot on my screen where I cant click with my mouse and either move or turn the camera angle. However when I disable RW2 that deadspot is no longer there. What exactly is that? Edit: I think I managed to figure out that it is the controller that makes the dead spot so I just made it as tiny as possible and moved it out the screen
I cant say when the heroics will be done, but within a week or 2 I will be working on them.
When are the Cataclysm heroics going to be overhauled?
Try this version and see if it works better. It was caused by some library changes. But should be fixed now.
In this version I have started some work on changing the looks of some config elements. So it may happen that the config UI wont open at all. If that happens just revert back to the latest release version for now. Planning to have all the changes along with the boss mods for raids and most of the 5men dugenons out soon before Cata launch.
Ugh all the sounds from the warnings have disappeared when I upgraded. It would surely be a pain to go into every alert and put a sound to it for everything...
Since 4.0.1 it is required that sound fx is enabled for addons to be able to play sounds. I dont know if this is changed back in 4.0.3 or not since servers are still down for me, but if its not then there is no way around having effects turned on.
Am i doing something wrong, or does this addon now require you to enable Sound Effects ingame via Blizzard, to hear the warnings?
Enable Sound i can understand, but having to turn on Sound Effects so you have to listen to spell casting, train sets, etc etc in order to hear boss sound warnings is bad imo. I know recently there have been some changes to the API for addons using sounds.
Does this addon still require you to enable Sound Effects to hear boss warnings? If so, is there an addon that will suppress spell casting, trains, mounts and all the other various extremely annoying game sounds, while still allowing raid warning sounds to go through?
Glad you like it. The UI is just my own compilation of many different mods.
Hi, just wanted to say keep up the good work, really liking the "flow" of this bossmod, and forgive me if this is wrong place to ask, but what UI is used in the demo image? I really like the way it and RW2 looks together.
The cataclysm stuff is only in the svn repo. So if you want them you will have to install some kind of svn client and download it.
Will soon start to work more on it, when dungeons start to be more stable on beta and not changing any more.
I don't see any folders or files for cataclysm in the download. I know you added a shell in the r601+ but shouldn't there be files associated with that as well?
Ty so much :D
The automatic health frames you can disable if you click on "Plugins" and then there should be an options for health frames (I know maybe not the most logical place). But for the rest we haven't implemented the options for yet I am afraid. If you don't want any of these bars at all you could go into the RaidWatch_Plugins folder and delete MPB.lua as a temporary solution.
Maybe I'm blind but is there any option to totally disable the Multi-Purpose bars (default and health frames)?
