This project is abandoned and its default file will likely not work with the most recent version of World of Warcraft. Whether this project is out of date or its author has marked it as abandoned, this project is no longer maintained.

Note: as of Jan 2021, Scorchio has been flagged as abandoned due to the original author not carrying over her account to the new Overwolf system. Overwolf refuses to undo this. It isn't possible to release new versions while it's flagged as abandoned - they never get packaged. The original author flagged the project as "All Rights Reserved", so I'm not sure whether Overwolf would allow me to create a new forked version, even if I wanted to. Ultimately, the best path for everyone is probably to move on from Scorchio and build what you need around something like WeakAuras or TellMeWhen. -ywfn666

Scorchio2 is an addon for Mages that tracks Living Bomb, Nether Tempest, Ignite, Slow, Flamestrike (Flame Patch and snare), and Polymorph on multiple mobs, and can give you warnings and notifications when the debuffs need reapplying, or have expired completely. Scorchio can also provide bars for personal buffs/procs/summons: Clearcasting, Heating Up, Hot Streak!, Brain Freeze, Fingers of Frost, Combustion, Icy Veins, Arcane Power, Rune of Power, and Mirror Image. Up to three anchors are available for use (targeted, non-targeted, and buffs), and the sort order for bars within each anchor is customizable.

Use /scorchio2, or Blizzard's Addons configuration window to configure Scorchio2.

Localization Help Needed!

Lots of work has gone into translation, but there's still some left to do. Localizations are easy to submit on the WowAce Localization Page, and help many users. Please help with this if you're able. And thanks to everyone who's helped so far!

Has anyone had any reliability issues with Scorchio's trackers lately? It seems to have problems consistently tracking spells. For instance, last night in Ulduar, I know Living Bomb was on Hodir (I could see it in his debuffs), but the tracker only tracked for just a second then disappeared. I have the IS glyph and sometimes it would only register as four stacks on Hodir. And the Polymorph tracker seems to have a heck of a time tracking something from beginning to end. The tracker seems to just vanish for no apparent reason. I noticed it a lot with Living Bomb on Hodir last night. But it happened in other places as well in Ulduar.

I have had similar issues actually, especially with scorch sometimes only registering 3 or 4 stacks, despite having it glyphed. But I've not noticed anything with Living Bomb or Polymorph just yet.

Somebody else mentioned this (although the majority of people are having no problems at all, as far as I can tell) and they were on Hodir too. I wonder if that encounter does something strange.

If you could record a combat log of the encounter where you see this happening and get that to me, it would help a lot...

Awesome addon, It has raised my DPS considerably and helped me to optimized my spell rotation and use abilities that I often neglect. Thanks so much for the time and effort.

good addon m8 but one thing i am lvl 14 mage and use this and when i cast Polymorph on a target it says 50 sec but its not in lvl 14 can you fix so the timer is right for the rank of the spell?

At the moment, adding new spells to the addon is a pain - the architecture isn't particularly streamlined. I'm hoping to make it much easier in v1.5, which is in development, and then hopefully adding lower-ranked spells, and other spells like Frost Nova will be much more straightforward.,

May I make a request for version 1.5? Can you add the option to track spellstealing and counterspelling? So that when I have a target that I can steal a beneficial spell from or that I can use counterspell on, I am notified with a choice of a raid warning text "steal spell now" or "counterspell now" and where it makes sense a timer bar to go with it. I find I forget to use these capabilities of my mage and an on screen reminder would be very beneficial.

I'll look into Spellsteal and CS. It would require a new section of code, so it might miss the 1.5 release, but maybe 2.0?

Cracking addon....but miss the 'oldsounds' 'hotstreak' etc anyway to add those back on or am i missing something, more handy than the other sounds that just get lost in the action so to speak

Not too sure what you mean? The old Hot Streak sound (which Blizzard changed) can be played by Scorchio! 2 by selecting "AchievementSound" as the Proc Sound in the Hot Streak configuration.

If that's not what you mean, can you explain further?

Hello ennuilg could I request that you add options to have TTW tracking activate only in the following circumstances:

a) An option to allow TTW tracking to only display on current target.
b) An option to allow TTW tracking to only display on boss targets.

The issue some guild members and myself has was that on fights such as Razorscale, or Yogg-Saron, we were overwhelmed with the number of bars for TTW tracking due to the number of adds in the fight.

Thanks and regardless I still love Scorchio, best mage add on out there!

I'm currently working on v1.5, which will include a whole new method for handling the bars, including the ability to decide which bars are shown where and when... Hopefully this will cover both your requests once it's complete.

There are a couple of options I would love to see to make this addon perfect:

1. Give an option to display a message/icon/bar when a specific debuff of yours is NOT on a target, aka Living Bomb. That way when the icon is up, you know you need to recast it.

2. Allow us to add in our own buffs by name, so that we can customize anything we want. I would love to use this addon to track Heroism/Icy Veins timers to evocate more effectively, and I would also actually like to use this addon on my arms warrior to track Rend uptime.

2. And the moment, the architecture just wouldn't allow that. I'm hoping to simplify some stuff with v1.5 which might open the way to adding your own things to track.

anyone run into issues where a bar will just "disappear" ?

just installed, and i'll see living bomb timer disappear...sometimes it comes back, sometimes it doesnt. The expire text will show when it finishes though.

Also, hot streak doesn't always show in the bars either

Are you testing this at the target dummies? The bars will disappear when you go out of combat, which is exactly what will happen if you fire a Living Bomb at a target dummy then stand there to see how the addon works...
