Scorchio! 2

This project is abandoned and its default file will likely not work with the most recent version of World of Warcraft. Whether this project is out of date or its author has marked it as abandoned, this project is no longer maintained.

Note: as of Jan 2021, Scorchio has been flagged as abandoned due to the original author not carrying over her account to the new Overwolf system. Overwolf refuses to undo this. It isn't possible to release new versions while it's flagged as abandoned - they never get packaged. The original author flagged the project as "All Rights Reserved", so I'm not sure whether Overwolf would allow me to create a new forked version, even if I wanted to. Ultimately, the best path for everyone is probably to move on from Scorchio and build what you need around something like WeakAuras or TellMeWhen. -ywfn666

Scorchio2 is an addon for Mages that tracks Living Bomb, Nether Tempest, Ignite, Slow, Flamestrike (Flame Patch and snare), and Polymorph on multiple mobs, and can give you warnings and notifications when the debuffs need reapplying, or have expired completely. Scorchio can also provide bars for personal buffs/procs/summons: Clearcasting, Heating Up, Hot Streak!, Brain Freeze, Fingers of Frost, Combustion, Icy Veins, Arcane Power, Rune of Power, and Mirror Image. Up to three anchors are available for use (targeted, non-targeted, and buffs), and the sort order for bars within each anchor is customizable.

Use /scorchio2, or Blizzard's Addons configuration window to configure Scorchio2.

Localization Help Needed!

Lots of work has gone into translation, but there's still some left to do. Localizations are easy to submit on the WowAce Localization Page, and help many users. Please help with this if you're able. And thanks to everyone who's helped so far!

Shouldn't there be a talent check for Torment of the Weak? I get bars for Torment even though I don't have the talent. I disabled it, but now if I spec into it, I'll have to remember to turn it back on.

Sigh. It's still on the front page, even... I'll quote it (again) for you:

"TtW is tracked as a debuff on mobs, not as a talent you may have. If a warrior Thunderclaps, a DK casts Frost Fever, or a druid casts Infected Wounds then /any mob/ that receives that debuff is tagged as being VULNERABLE to TtW. It doesn't matter if you don't have the talent - the mob is still vulnerable, if you did. (Scorchio! 2 also tracks the single target Slow from mages, and judgements from Paladins who are talented with Judgement of the Just of course.)"

Scorchio! 2 is, first and foremost, a debuff tracker.

any chance of impact making the list? i know its not used in pve much, if at all. however, some of us do pvp in fire.

The comment below yours wants to make them stop in BGs, so it really should be working for you there! Are you saying you see no Scorchio! 2 bars at all whenever you're in a BG, whatever you do?

There aren't currently any specific checks for BGs/PvP, so if you don't want it running during those times, disabling the add-on is really the only way, or turning off each individual tracking (perhaps create a profile for this?)

Death should drop you out of combat, so the bars that are marked for Fade Out Of Combat should disappear - the others will stay, until they expire, just like you asked the addon to do!

My scorch tracker seems to work sporadically. Sometimes it tracks it, sometimes it doesn't. I have no idea why this is happening. I'll do some poking around and see if I can find anything.

Are you in a party/raid with a warlock, casting Improved Shadow Bolts? The debuff for these (Shadow Mastery) overwrites Improved Scorch, or, if SM is already on the mob, IS is not applied. Might this be what you're seeing?

My missile barrage tracking seems to have stopped working as of 3.2 / v1.0.4. Can anyone else confirm this? All other trackings seem to be in working order.

it seems that addon in error show tournament of the weak when there is no such spell applied or triggered it show of anything
and it spam window so hard to see other things

The addon's fine for Torment the Weak (which is what I assume you mean). In fact, it's the only mage add-on that handles TtW properly (for bosses/tanking slows, at least).

TtW is tracked as a debuff on mobs, not as a talent you may have. If a warrior Thunderclaps, a DK casts Frost Fever, or a druid casts Infected Wounds then /any mob/ that receives that debuff is tagged as being VULNERABLE to TtW. It doesn't matter if you don't have the talent - the mob is still vulnerable, if you did. (Scorchio! 2 also tracks the single target Slow from mages, and judgements from Paladins who are talented with Judgement of the Just of course.)

What you are seeing is a thunderclap, or a DK disease on a number of mobs. If you're not talented to take advantage of TtW, then turn off the bars in the Scorchio! 2 configuration screen.

v1.5 of Scorchio! 2, coming soon, will enable you to only show bars of your target.

Probably in v1.5, coming soon.

At the moment, it's a real pain to add new spells to track, not particularly because of the spells themselves, but because of the new configuration and options stuff that needs to be added to too. v1.5 will make that all much easier for me, making me much more inclined to add tracking for IV, FN, etc. that people have been asking for for a while.
