This project is abandoned and its default file will likely not work with the most recent version of World of Warcraft. Whether this project is out of date or its author has marked it as abandoned, this project is no longer maintained.

Note: as of Jan 2021, Scorchio has been flagged as abandoned due to the original author not carrying over her account to the new Overwolf system. Overwolf refuses to undo this. It isn't possible to release new versions while it's flagged as abandoned - they never get packaged. The original author flagged the project as "All Rights Reserved", so I'm not sure whether Overwolf would allow me to create a new forked version, even if I wanted to. Ultimately, the best path for everyone is probably to move on from Scorchio and build what you need around something like WeakAuras or TellMeWhen. -ywfn666

Scorchio2 is an addon for Mages that tracks Living Bomb, Nether Tempest, Ignite, Slow, Flamestrike (Flame Patch and snare), and Polymorph on multiple mobs, and can give you warnings and notifications when the debuffs need reapplying, or have expired completely. Scorchio can also provide bars for personal buffs/procs/summons: Clearcasting, Heating Up, Hot Streak!, Brain Freeze, Fingers of Frost, Combustion, Icy Veins, Arcane Power, Rune of Power, and Mirror Image. Up to three anchors are available for use (targeted, non-targeted, and buffs), and the sort order for bars within each anchor is customizable.

Use /scorchio2, or Blizzard's Addons configuration window to configure Scorchio2.

Localization Help Needed!

Lots of work has gone into translation, but there's still some left to do. Localizations are easy to submit on the WowAce Localization Page, and help many users. Please help with this if you're able. And thanks to everyone who's helped so far!

got the same problems as other ppl aswell..

Hotstreak isn't displaying (even tho you hear the sound) and sometimes the bar for Scorch just vanishes. It's mostly fine but sometimes when you recast it it fully disappears (you can then sometimes make it reappear by recasting it another time). Same for Living Bomb - casting LB on mob -> everytings fine and then boom - bar is away w/o a reason.

Settings are set to "max display blub" 0. I'm using classic mode aswell - so I guess the error has to be somewhere there (since everyone has this error there). I'm using 1.0.4 now since that had worked fine ^^

There's nothing actually different about the code between "Classic Anchors" and "Modern Anchors", so it's unlikely to be anything to do that. Still, if you could test for me whether the same thing happens in Modern Anchors mode, then we'll know.

I'm beginning to think this is a performance issue, or a problem with LibBars. Can you answer some questions for me to help me pin this down?

1. Does it happen all the time?
2. When it does happen, do you still get the warning message, and the notification that the buff has expired?
3. When it does happen, are you in a raid? And instance? A group? Are there other mages? etc. As much background as you can give might help me understand what's happening.

This problem definitely exists - but it does seem to be: a) intermittent, and b) not happening to everyone (it doesn't happen to me, for instance). I need to gather as much information as I can to try and ascertain why it's happening, to try and fix it.

a) not permanently - just I dunno maybe 30%
b) I'll have disabled warning messages aswell as the expired messages. But I'll keep them enabled for bug tracking. However, the sound is played.
c) I'll only tested it in raids (for Hero Instances I use Arcane - but I'll test aswell). In one raid I was the only mage and in the other one we were about 5.

I'll now use your "Debug" version, and will try most possibillitys (Modern stuff, warning/expired messages left to on and bla). Hopefully you can fix it then ^^
Would it help if I make a little video about it ?

One thing you counld change is the anchor bar. If you click toggle anchors the bars get "moved up" by this bar - so it's more difficult to place them (since you have to predict where they will be when you click toggle again). Nothing THIS important but (at least for me) a bit annoying.

The anchors are provided by LibBars, rather than me, I'm afraid. The bottom of the anchors though is where the bottom of the first bar will appear (opposite in grow-down).

Don't forget to let me know how you get on with the debug build please... :-)

It is not showing the first Arcane Blast. It starts at the second cast (2x arcane blast)

I'll look into this. Are you casting that first Arcane Blast out-of-combat? Does it happen all the time? In combat and out-of-combat?

Where are the profiles stored? I updated and I have an old profile. I try to delete is and it's not in the list. But I click on stored profiles and it's there? I looking in the WTF folder and there is nothing in the saved variables folder for scorchio2. I tried completely removing the scorchio2 folder and reinstalling and the old custom profiles persist. They are <char name> - <server name>.

I seem to have {default, <server name>, <char name>-<server name>} in my profiles list. Are these auto created or did I make them in a previous version of scorchio (I cannot remember)?

Those profiles are autocreated by (and virtual, until you copy and save them) AceConfig-3.0.

Scorchio! 2 stores it's SavedVariables in ../WTF/Account/<AccountName>/SavedVariables/Scorchio2.lua

Ennulig, thanks for an awesome addon. I haven't been on WoW for a week because real life is busy, I got on this morning and checked my addons for updates and Scorchio2 was updated (1.10 beta 2 was available. Woohoo, I haven't played with it yet, I will in a bit. I didn't see anything in the comments or notes indicating that you have added a hoped for tracking of spellsteal and counterspell on targeted mob. Any chance this will make it into a version in the not too distant future?

There are no new buffs/debuffs tracked in this release. It's an interim release, in the main to give people the opportunity to only see bars for their target. What's the tracking you were particularly hoping to see?

I am working towards v1.5.0 release, which will bring a major code-change, making adding new spells to track much easier.

Tracking spellsteable buffs is not straightfoward, in that it doesn't fit within Scorchio! 2's current architecture. It's an interesting addition though, and I'm hoping to see how I can add it after the v1.5.0 rewrite.

Hi.
Im using classic anchors, all redirected to buff anchor.
Sometimes bars from Hot Streak or Living Bomb doesnt appear when i got buff. Most of time they appear after some time and sometimes didnt appear at all.

Scorch bar works fine. I didnt check rest of buffs/debuffs.

I can't currently reproduce this. A few questions which might help... First, make sure the max bars viewable on the anchor you're using (Classic Anchors should default to the Targeted bar, not the Buffs one, btw) is set to 0 (which actually means unlimited).

Now, when the bars show up slowly, or late - is the time on them right? Or does it start counting from the start of the duration?

Do you still get the warnings, and if you leave it to run out, do you get that notification too?

Thanks for reporting these things, and hopefully we're can sort out what's occurring!

Hey, I'm getting the same error with Hot Streak. It will appear about halfway through its cast time with the correct timer. Using classic mode.

Timer is correct when bar appears, it just appear when it has 3-6 seconds till expire (Hot Streak).I had a lot of buffs when this happened, when i was blowing all cooldowns.
Sometimes bar appear when i cast first Pyroblast and i have another proc (4xT8 set bonus).

I can't quite understand why this is happening (and only for a couple of people)... There's actually nothing in my code which can draw a buff bar halfway through its cycle. (There is for debuffs, but not buffs like Hot Streak - it's just not there!) I played pretty much most of last night, both at the dummies and in instances, and didn't notice it happening to me.

Can you guys make sure you have the latest version of LibBars-1.0 and that no other add-ons are loading an older version?

I think there may be a performance issue, particularly as maygyver said he had a lot of bars and things going on at the time. This v1.1.0 is an interim release to give people the ability to only show debuffs on their target if they choose, and I am undergoing a major code rewrite for v1.5.0, when I will try to approach any performance and efficiency issues. Until then, I can't see what I can do - particularly as it seems intermittent. (Obviously, I'll keep looking and if I spot something, I'll commit a fix!)

I'm going to tag this v1.1.0 beta 2 as a release tomorrow morning if no show-stopper bugs are found.

Performance isn't an issue in my case. After i get back version 1.0.4 all bars were working fine. I have no other addons to track buffs/debuffs. Ill get latest version ov LibBars and check it/

I would recommend shying away from using the term 'focused' when the term 'focus' already has a significant meaning in the UI. I don't have any intelligent suggestions for alternatives (targeted/non-targeted?), but I thought I'd throw it out there.
