This project is abandoned and its default file will likely not work with the most recent version of World of Warcraft. Whether this project is out of date or its author has marked it as abandoned, this project is no longer maintained.

Note: as of Jan 2021, Scorchio has been flagged as abandoned due to the original author not carrying over her account to the new Overwolf system. Overwolf refuses to undo this. It isn't possible to release new versions while it's flagged as abandoned - they never get packaged. The original author flagged the project as "All Rights Reserved", so I'm not sure whether Overwolf would allow me to create a new forked version, even if I wanted to. Ultimately, the best path for everyone is probably to move on from Scorchio and build what you need around something like WeakAuras or TellMeWhen. -ywfn666

Scorchio2 is an addon for Mages that tracks Living Bomb, Nether Tempest, Ignite, Slow, Flamestrike (Flame Patch and snare), and Polymorph on multiple mobs, and can give you warnings and notifications when the debuffs need reapplying, or have expired completely. Scorchio can also provide bars for personal buffs/procs/summons: Clearcasting, Heating Up, Hot Streak!, Brain Freeze, Fingers of Frost, Combustion, Icy Veins, Arcane Power, Rune of Power, and Mirror Image. Up to three anchors are available for use (targeted, non-targeted, and buffs), and the sort order for bars within each anchor is customizable.

Use /scorchio2, or Blizzard's Addons configuration window to configure Scorchio2.

Localization Help Needed!

Lots of work has gone into translation, but there's still some left to do. Localizations are easy to submit on the WowAce Localization Page, and help many users. Please help with this if you're able. And thanks to everyone who's helped so far!

Blizzard isn't any closer to fixing the problem on spell aura applied bug, I would go ahead and commit the buff scanning feature.

I'm running MageFever, at the moment, to see get visual notification of buffs.

It also is not currently tracking Brain Freeze or Water Elemental, at least for me. Fingers of Frost for whatever reason is working fine, as is Polymorph.

Well at least I wasn't the only one having issues with the Arcane Missles proc showing up. I did go into the options to see if it was clicked because I like to turn off other peoples buffs and sometimes Torment of the Weak in cases like Ony where people are using blizzard on whelps and it fills my whole screen, and it is.

agrre with Ihadurca, most important for me is the sound when MB procs.
But perhaps Blizz will fix the combat log with one of the next hotfixes?

What's happened with this addon? The only thing it's showing bars for is Arcane Blast, and that only works some of the time. Really disappointing because it's the best of its kind :( Please fix!

Have you checked out COMBAT_TEXT_UPDATE event with arg1=="SPELL_ACTIVE"
As to the removal of bars, you can always look for casting of appropriate spells in combat log.

The real question is whether Blizz has accepted the lack of combat log notifications as a "bug" and intends to fix it... or if AURA is working as intended now.

I personally would prefer to avoid a severe performance hit to due to AddOns, but need something to manage procs.

OK, here's where I am with this... By aggressively scanning auras, I can bring up Hot Streak bars and proc notifications. I can give you a warning when the proc will expire.

But along with not triggering AURA_APPLIED, these buffs are not triggering AURA_REMOVED either, which means that I can't see when you've used Hot Streak to remove the bar again without scanning the auras again for every possible debuff that Scorchio! 2 tracks... This wouldbe a massive performance hit - the aggressive scan is pretty hardcore anyhow.

So, a question - do you want me to commit this patch as it is, to give you MB/HS etc. notifications and bars, but live with the fact that consuming the proc will leave the bars to expire naturally, or would that be too confusing?

I'd say no, don't release it.

I love Scorchio but I've loaded Nuggets while you work this problem out. Nuggets seems to have Barrage working correctly, so the info is there somewhere. To allow the bars to expire naturally would be too confusing and I think your addon is way too good to be second rate to anything else.

Is there a way to make it just clear after the next cast of those spells? Like say you get a mbarr proc with a 15 second timer to use it, can you set it to clear the bar after the 15 seconds or on next am cast? Maybe it could be a temporary solution. Also any word on IV, AP, and Hero being added?
