This project is abandoned and its default file will likely not work with the most recent version of World of Warcraft. Whether this project is out of date or its author has marked it as abandoned, this project is no longer maintained.

Note: as of Jan 2021, Scorchio has been flagged as abandoned due to the original author not carrying over her account to the new Overwolf system. Overwolf refuses to undo this. It isn't possible to release new versions while it's flagged as abandoned - they never get packaged. The original author flagged the project as "All Rights Reserved", so I'm not sure whether Overwolf would allow me to create a new forked version, even if I wanted to. Ultimately, the best path for everyone is probably to move on from Scorchio and build what you need around something like WeakAuras or TellMeWhen. -ywfn666

Scorchio2 is an addon for Mages that tracks Living Bomb, Nether Tempest, Ignite, Slow, Flamestrike (Flame Patch and snare), and Polymorph on multiple mobs, and can give you warnings and notifications when the debuffs need reapplying, or have expired completely. Scorchio can also provide bars for personal buffs/procs/summons: Clearcasting, Heating Up, Hot Streak!, Brain Freeze, Fingers of Frost, Combustion, Icy Veins, Arcane Power, Rune of Power, and Mirror Image. Up to three anchors are available for use (targeted, non-targeted, and buffs), and the sort order for bars within each anchor is customizable.

Use /scorchio2, or Blizzard's Addons configuration window to configure Scorchio2.

Localization Help Needed!

Lots of work has gone into translation, but there's still some left to do. Localizations are easy to submit on the WowAce Localization Page, and help many users. Please help with this if you're able. And thanks to everyone who's helped so far!

the only thing that shows in combat log is spell hit or spell miss for pyroblast, missile procs clear faster because at least that registers spell cast success. pyroblast has a short lag because it has to wait for target to be hit by it to register "ok he cast pyroblast clear bar"

my mage is specced FFB for anub and arcane atm and i just never go frost to do any real kind of testing to add brain freeze, maybe on raiding off nights when I might not have to use both specs I'll look into it..

the addon that doesn't use SCT does use buffs instead of combat log, but as author of scorchio pointed out before, this is a more aggressive method of doing it that actually uses more resources, granted on the scale of modern technology and how small addon is, the impact is negligible but still not preferred method if it can be helped.

Problem with that explanation on hot streak is before 3.3 this didn't happen. When you fired your pyroblast it reset fine every time. It's only with this beta version I've seen this happening.

Checked last version (r64 one) and confirm that Hot Streak is working, make sure to enable all options on "Enable my floating combat text" section.

I found a way to allow the Hot Streak/Missile Barrage notices to appear WITHOUT having to keep the Blizzard crappy SCT on.
All you have to do is each time you log in, turn ON the Blizzard text, and then you can immediately turn it OFF but still get the warnings. It's annoying to have to remember to do this every time you log in, but it works.

I tried that newer version that you fixed and the 13% spell damage gets tracked and when i click it off it doesn't change anything. Also hot streak still doesn't work. I'm a fire mage didn't try acrance yet so i'm not aware of that.

i fixed the bug with 13% spell damage not toggling off if you turn it off.

Options/interface/CombatText

make sure "enable my floating combat text" is checked on.

yes :\, it's only work around since there is no CLEU event for missles. here's to hoping blizz actually does fix combat log bug so temp fix can be removed. I use blizz combat text but i have minimal checkboxes checked, it only alerts of procs and nothing more. so it shouldn't get in way..

I've actually improved on the fix for hot streak and missles and added a new feature, the ability to track 13% spell damage debuff, works pretty well. tracks ebon plaguebringer, curse of elements and earth and moon. If you want to know how to code this send me a PM

nevermind, author had an open repo on wowace so i commited fix there. (hopefully not stepping on toes, the rep was set to open though)

Are you sure you uploaded the right version? It doesn't work. The definition of Scorchio2:COMBAT_TEXT_UPDATE should be:
function Scorchio2:COMBAT_TEXT_UPDATE(_, arg1, arg2)

The fix for MB worked for about half of tonight's ICC run, then it suddenly stopped tracking MB or AB entirely and Recount disappeared, which may or may not have anything to do with it. Also, the 13% damage bar can't be turned off. I have it completely unchecked.

ye author of this mod is lazy and he didn't fix it yet for like month now...guess u gotta do it yourself somehow althought i dunno how either..thx god that arcane is main spec now

Comments like that are not necessary. This authoer does this for free and out of his own time. He's lazy? Why don't you go learn to program and write a better addon.

I have 1 question, im a frostfire mage but when hot Streak pops up it does not show on the buff bar idk why can some 1 help?

hello, i just wanted to say that i love this addon. i know that the missile barrage sound hasn't worked since the new patch and was wondering if this will be fixed in the near future. i know that fixing this addon is probably not the highest thing on your todo list, but anything that can be done to keep this great mod up to speed would be greatly appreciated. thank you.
