This project is abandoned and its default file will likely not work with the most recent version of World of Warcraft. Whether this project is out of date or its author has marked it as abandoned, this project is no longer maintained.

Note: as of Jan 2021, Scorchio has been flagged as abandoned due to the original author not carrying over her account to the new Overwolf system. Overwolf refuses to undo this. It isn't possible to release new versions while it's flagged as abandoned - they never get packaged. The original author flagged the project as "All Rights Reserved", so I'm not sure whether Overwolf would allow me to create a new forked version, even if I wanted to. Ultimately, the best path for everyone is probably to move on from Scorchio and build what you need around something like WeakAuras or TellMeWhen. -ywfn666

Scorchio2 is an addon for Mages that tracks Living Bomb, Nether Tempest, Ignite, Slow, Flamestrike (Flame Patch and snare), and Polymorph on multiple mobs, and can give you warnings and notifications when the debuffs need reapplying, or have expired completely. Scorchio can also provide bars for personal buffs/procs/summons: Clearcasting, Heating Up, Hot Streak!, Brain Freeze, Fingers of Frost, Combustion, Icy Veins, Arcane Power, Rune of Power, and Mirror Image. Up to three anchors are available for use (targeted, non-targeted, and buffs), and the sort order for bars within each anchor is customizable.

Use /scorchio2, or Blizzard's Addons configuration window to configure Scorchio2.

Localization Help Needed!

Lots of work has gone into translation, but there's still some left to do. Localizations are easy to submit on the WowAce Localization Page, and help many users. Please help with this if you're able. And thanks to everyone who's helped so far!

Simply tracking if your combustion got spread (multiple non-target bars would appear) would be enough imo.

Scorchio does not seem to be counting the "Jinx: Curse of the Elements" debuff as an 8% magic debuff. It's equivalent to CoE, and is triggered by the warlock talent Jinx.

I don't mind at all. :) Just PM me on WowAce if you do it, to make sure I notice. It turns out Jinx is a little tricky to add though, because it has no duration and isn't generating many of the aura events Scorchio2 uses to track other debuffs. So it's not as easy as just adding spellids. I have some ideas I'll try in my next raid though.

More info. What Scorchio2 is going to do is pretend Jinx has a duration, the same duration of the longest CoE cast by the warlock. This will almost always be correct, and is the best guess possible in any case.

But it requires a new representation for CoE durations that can be updated and queried efficiently. It wouldn't be acceptable for Scorchio2 to scan the entire spell table looking for CoEs everytime it sees Jinx. I'll test it tonight.

The only two spells i think it is missing are arcane power and combustion I'd love to have it track them like it does for bomb but i dont see any way to add in a spell witch would also be nice too xD

This should be supported already; try this, for example with Critical Mass:

CHECK Track Critical Mass
UNCHECK Show Bars
CHECK Toggle Sounds

Something similar is available for almost all the bars; only a few special ones like Arcane Blast don't have sounds.

Hey.

I'm still seeing problems when I'm arcane with invisible AB/AM bars. They appear for a split second and then dissapear.

Specifically I've noticed it happen on Nefarian more then any other fight and the other thing seems to be it happens often during Mirror Image-use. Sometimes it still hangs there after MI is gone

Are you using Glyph of Mirror Image as Arcane? I've never tried that. It might do something weird I'd have to look into.

I have been having the same issues for a while. I was just testing the issue by removing the Mirror Images glyph and Scorchio started working normally when tracking AB stacks and AM. Therefore, it is an issue with the Mirror Images glyph.

I re added the Mirror Images glyph and this is what I came up with:

After a bit more testing it seems that Scorchio is incorrectly counting the mirror images arcane blasts as your own. Not sure as to why Scorchio isn't tracking AM on occasion when images are up though.

Yes I have the glyph so that makes some sense.
But I have also noted some odd behaviour when scorch-debuff is up from another mage. Haven't pinpointed it fully so going to have a closer look at that.

Odd behavior when another mage Scorches may be not having enough bars on the Target anchor to display everything. Try increasing Max Bars, or just set it to 0.

The new version has Flamestrike and Improved Flamestrike. I recommend turning Imp Flamestrike off, since it's part of Blast Wave not something you'd care about managing separately. I left it on by default so that people realize it stacks with normal Flamestrike; a lot of people don't know yet.
