Sell-O-Matic

Table of Contents

The purpose of this mod is to help us sell the kind of items that we get most frequently: Junk!

How to use it

Open the merchant window.
Check if the top right coin style button is greyed or not.
If the button isn't greyed it means you have items to sell. If you hover your mouse above the button it will display the total profit you will earn.
Hit the button and all junk items will be sold.
Profit!

SellOMatic vs SellOMatic2

SellOMatic has been rewritten to give the old SellOMatic lovers the essence of the addon back, to sell those pesky junk items without complications: No options, no lists, no problems. Also it has been rewritten to be a light and fast addon.

SellOMatic2 is the evolution of the addon, giving the user the ability to choose which modules/functions to enable to configure the addon as the user needs. It includes list/item/class/destroy functions to suit a variety of needs. More info here

Very nice tool, the only problem I see right now it the fact that it's really hard to add an item... Is there a way to Shift click and item and get its name added to the appropriate list rather than having to type it manually?

Is there any chance that you could implement something like auto profit had where it would automatically sell unusable green items that you got from quests (bop rewards that your toon cannot equip)? many thanks for this addon, if it weren't for the green autosell option it would be perfect

Not sure what happened, but I added a whole bunch of armor and weapons that drop in Strat, when to sell everything at once, and none of the recently added items would sell. The items did show up in chat as if it did sell, but they were still there. Reloaded UI and it still didn't work. :|

Well, I did just a Barron run, and I had the same problem again. Clicked sell and it sold all of my whites and gray, but none of the greens and blues. I added more white items to the sell list and those sold to the vendor, and I also made sure that the blue and greens were on the sell list...no good.

Also the command I have beem using was: /som addtext [Linked item here]

Added using the option panel, and that didn't work either. Also I was mistaken about the addon printing that it had sold the blues. The only print I get is when I put an item on the sell list.

I was away from WoW for a bit, but I want to check back to say the new options work! Thanks you for that! :)

One thing I noticed, though, was that the new options where named "Allow Blue" and "Allow Epic" and was thinking shouldn't it be Allow Superior or Allow Purple for the other? Game-breaking, I know. >.<

And also, I want to say I support your idea to add a button to the vendor frame to add items to the sell list!

Hope you don't mind me cutting and pasting the comment i made on WoWUI because after i posted it i noticed the previous comment was 158 days ago, and this site seems to be used a lot more :)

Hi Silmano, great mod but a couple of points;
1, Sellomatic seems to have a problem with hyphons i put in Honey-Spiced Lichen but it wouldnt sell it, don't really fancy putting part names in incase i end up selling something i didn't want to.
2,Could the input box not be integrated into the main options screen so people dont have to keep bringing up the box for every item they want to input it seems a little unnecasary as it is.

API is RepairAllItems([1 | nil])
1 is to use guild bank money

Hey there! Neat Addon ;)

But I can't figure out how to configure it so that it sells my normal e.g. [Bold Bloodstone] but not my [Perfect Bold Bloodstone].

Tried several ways but wasnt able to achieve this.

Nope, doesn't work.

Even did it in different order.

- Adding non-perfect to sell list and perfect to save list.
- Adding perfect to save list and non-perfect to sell list.

Experimented with ' and " and so on.
Can't get it to work ;(

Hey! i love this addon, but got feed up with the spam when u click an vendor and u have nothing too sell and it say auto selling anyway..
im no addon expert or anything, but i manage to fix the SOM.lua so it didn't spam it all the time, but also so it wasn't completly gone if u had something to sell..

I've run into an issue when I added "Diamond-tipped Cane" to the sell list. It will not sell. I tried to remove it from the sell list by deleting "Diamond-tipped Cane" or "Diamond-tipped", it isn't found in the list to delete. Deleting "Diamond" got it though, so it appears to be the hyphen causing the issue.

I would like to sell my non-perfect gems but keep my perfect ones. But the sell list seems to be of a higher priority than the save list. This means I enter:

Sovereign Shadow Crystal into the sell list
Perfect Sovereign Shadow Crystal into the save list

but sadly S-O-M deletes both.

Otherwise great Addon. Finally sold all of my uncut and uninteresting green gems to the vendor today.

is there option for wildcards? I'm a JC/enchanter and I often cut dark jades and shadow crystals into gems and just vendor those. So it would be nice to autosell all gems that are cut and have green quality of those 2 types. ATM I have listed those 2 gems(and their perfect versions) that show up first on JC screen.
