Sell-O-Matic
The purpose of this mod is to help us sell the kind of items that we get most frequently: Junk!
How to use it
- Open the merchant window.
- Check if the top right coin style button is greyed or not.
- If the button isn't greyed it means you have items to sell. If you hover your mouse above the button it will display the total profit you will earn.
- Hit the button and all junk items will be sold.
- Profit!
SellOMatic vs SellOMatic2
SellOMatic has been rewritten to give the old SellOMatic lovers the essence of the addon back, to sell those pesky junk items without complications: No options, no lists, no problems. Also it has been rewritten to be a light and fast addon.
SellOMatic2 is the evolution of the addon, giving the user the ability to choose which modules/functions to enable to configure the addon as the user needs. It includes list/item/class/destroy functions to suit a variety of needs. More info here

Getting a failure with 2.4.2.... any ideas?
AWESOME addon. I cannot see myself hunting anymore without it. Rated 5 stars by me
You would have to tell it to sell items that you don't want it to sell, so it would be entirely your fault if "the addon sold all the items in your bag". /sorry
its awesome, but please add option to sell all green items aswell !
This addon just sold my entire inventory when I turned the uselist option on. I have contacted a GM and I hope I can get those back as most items are irreplacable... And all I was trying to do was get it to sell cheese (which was the only item it did NOT sell, amazing that) anyway, this is obviously a huge enough problem that I will not use this mod and I will probably not even look at it again until I am sure the problem is fixed, I hope you fix it for other people.
Great addon, was looking for an AutoProfit replacement. Mod definitely helps, been using it to sell all the useless common items I get while doing dailies.
EDIT: I think there is an issue where if you add an item to your sell list, such as any common item/white, when you turn on Autosell it won't autosell your sell list common items, only autosells greys/vendor trash.
I've got to say something.. because of these people..
I do have the same add on you guys have.. and it does what it should do.
It sells grey items. (unless i add some other ^^)
And i love it. Expecially the summory of all grey items in the end.
So you guys shut up.
Silmano did a very great job. (i don'd have just an idea of creating an addon *g*)
(So sorry for my english, hope it can be read)
I've been using this addon for awhile now and I haven't had it sell my epics and someone said it sold their mount. I don't even think you can sell your mount to be honest. Anyways if anyone wants to take my word for it this is a very good addon and the only way I see it selling everyones gear is because it was poorly configured after being installed by the consumer not the authors fault you just aren't very bright.
Just like other people, this addon deleted my whole inventory, and the GM said they cant recover it for me :(
This addon must be a joke. Good one. Got me to sell all my items also. Thanks.
Thanks for taking it seriously.
I'm definite there wasn't a space after the item names I added; however, I did enclose them in brackets: [Fish Oil], for example. (Force of habit, actually, from other mods that want links--they don't recognize item names without the brackets.)
That is your problem.
If you write [Fish oil], it will sell any item containing a F, I, S, H, <space>, O or L
regular expressions ftw
I can understand being suspicious if it were one person saying it, but there are 4 people in the comments here telling you what happened, and 1 more on WoWUI (aside from me). Are you really so intent on pretending there's no error/ bug in your mod to the extent of letting unsuspecting people lose all their things?
Pic of it selling the last 15 items: http://img210.imageshack.us/my.php?image=solditems2wu2.jpg
Unfortunately, I don't have the pic of ALL the items being sold before those last few, because frankly, I was standing there in shock just staring at it, and trade chat happily went on scrolling. It only occurred to me to scroll back up to take a screenie of the sold items after I'd opened a ticket, since I realized the GM would want a list of the items.
Here, however, is a pic of the items being restored by Blizz (thanks, Blizz!). Needless to say, all the items there from 'Customer Support' were the sold items that they were kind enough to restore.

Took a screenie of it because it looked intriguing to be receiving BOP items in the mail (such as the Darkmoon trinket, quest wand and quest fishing pole).
*edit: You'll have to copy and paste the URL to include the jpg at the end. I have no idea why it's cut off from the clickable link.
*Note: To help you pin down the problem--> I have no idea what those others did, but for myself I added Fish Oil and Fish Scale to the list of sellable items. It asked for the name or part of the name, so I assumed that Fish Scale (instead of Shiny Fish Scale) would do. You might want to try checking that. I added this the first day I tried it, and nothing unusual happened.
The next day, I logged in, visited the vendor and clicked 'Sell', and the rest is history.
@Silmano
dubcreation and bek are right.
I installed it yesterday and it worked fine.
Today I went to the NPC, clicked 'Sell', and it sold ALL the things in my bags. Including my epic gear, my swift flying mount, my flasks, etc. GAAAAAAH. It happened just a few minutes ago.
Now I'm opening a ticket for a GM to recover everything, since we can only buy back the last 10 items sold. And deleting this mod. And of course, their Item Recovery policy says recovery is not guaranteed, and if they do return things, it can take a week.
*Note: I'm pointing out that it sold epic gear and epic mount, etc., because purple is so incredibly far from gray trash items.
I would STRONGLY recommend you NOT using this add-on. I added an item just to test, and it sold that item as I expected. Then I erased that item, and a few minutes later ran the program again, and it sold EVERYTHING in my inventory. The problem is that you can only buy back so many items, so I lost everything else!
1/5 stars. AutoProfit is what you really want, but I don't know if it works after the 2.3 patch. Not having an addon is better than using this one.
This so called addon sold evrything in my inventory. All colours, green, blue and purple. Trinkets gone, a weapon, blue drops, greens. Thorium gone, mithril, skinning knife, mining pick. All that's left are quest items. Could only salvage one page from the buyback tab, which were all leather and stone items. Do not use this addon. I am livid.

latest version has been deleted due to bug. Please fix the addon and reupload a fix, Silmano!
DO NOT DL THE NEW UPDATE! IT WILL SELL EVERYTHING IN YOUR BAGS! INCLUDING YOUR EPICS AND ONCE-IN-LIFETIME ITEMS.
I loved this mod...before it started giving me errors out of the blue. So..I updated...and the errors continue.
To preface this, before installing v. 0.6, I deleted the addon from the addons folders...and I deleted the 2 files in my saved variables folder, hence a completely new and fresh install.
The errors I receive happen every time I try to activate any /som command.
For example....i nothiced that when things got sold...they were listed of 2 or 3 times and the total at the bottom was an inflated total..not the actual money I had made by selling grays.
So I typed /som showDetail and I get this error:
Interface\FrameXML\ChatFrame.lua:3094:AceConsole-2.0:AceConsole-2.0: Option handler "Is Detail" not found.
Every SoM command I try gets this error showing up with the words in parenthesis changed depending on the command I am trying.
For example trying the command /som resetList gets the same error with "ClearTable" not found.
/som standy gets "isActive" not found.
and so on and so forth.
Any suggestions?
