About
SexyCooldowns is a logarithmic cooldown bar. What's that, you say? Well, most timer bars you're used to are linear. That is, the distance between 0 seconds and 10 seconds is the same as the distance between 50 seconds and 60 seconds. A logarithmic cooldown bar is somewhat different - it represents cooldowns on a compressed timeline, so that cooldowns that are closer to being ready are represented as more active on the bar. This lets you represent a large amount of data on a single bar, and have it remain useful.
In short, SexyCooldown is a single consolidated timer bar for all your spell, pet's spell, item, and proc cooldowns, as well as buffs, debuffs, and totem timers. It's very flexible, and can be customized to fit into your UI as best you see fit.
Features
- Spawn as many bars as you want, and show the specific information you want on each.
- Supports spell and talent cooldowns, explicit and internal item cooldowns, buffs on you, debuffs on you, and debuffs on your target or focus.
- Very highly configurable look and feel. Build bars that will fit into any UI.
- Bars may be oriented horizontally or vertically, and move in either direction.
- Extensible - can support virtually any kind of timer. Currently works as a cooldown, buff, and debuff timer, but the possibilities are endless.
Demo
Here you can see that I have set up three separate bars, one for my cooldowns at the bottom, one for short buffs on me (<45 seconds) above my unit frame, and one for my debuffs on my target above the target unit frame.
In a raid setting (Click for HD):
when I use a 5 mins CD the bar shows 55m. Using the flexible layout.

Also, the bar's texture doesn't save. I have to reselect it, everytime I log in.
that one seems like coolline but seems also more sexy
Anyone else having trouble getting Raise Dead (death knight summon spell) to show up? I checked to make sure that it is not black listed. I suspect the problem has to do with the fact that the cooldown does not begin until the ghoul dies.
Nice, thanks. Would it also be possible to remove the decimal places when the remaining time is set to be shown on the icons? I don't need to know milliseconds really. I know milliseconds only show during the last 10 seconds, but having quite a few abilities with low cooldown times, it gets a little hectic on the bar ;)
Again: Your work is much appreciated, this is a great replacement for Forte.
Oh, and I just noticed that Mangle (Bear) doesn't show up on the cooldown bar. I checked the blacklist, just in case... but it wasn't there either.
I find it to be behind a lot of components sadly :(.
I've split the icon disable options out into "disable tooltips" and "disable mouse". The former will just disable tooltips, while the latter disables all mouse interaction (including blacklisting).
Enabling icon tooltips solved the problem - thanks a bunch.
Careen - Vehicle cooldowns aren't supported yet, but will be coming. Pet and item cooldowns should already be supported.
khariv - Make sure you didn't turn off icon tooltips. Doing so completely prevents mouse interaction with them. I'll see about making that a separate option.
The right click to hide a cooldown thats on a bar does not seem to be working for me. Is there some sort of trick to doing this?
I wonder, would it be possible to add options to show vehicle, pet and maybe item cooldowns to the bar?
Now that you have added debuff timers to a target would it be too cheeky to ask if you could implement something very small. I'm after the same feature Fortexorcist does where the icon colours the bar a set colour as it counts down. This makes for a easy eye catching reference and makes it much easier to tell what debuff / buff / cooldown is next.
Thanks, Rust
