ShaOfFearAssist
A graphical assistance to the dance during Dread Spray at the Sha of Fear encounter in Terrace of Endless Spring.
Additional configurations have been added (version 1.2 and upwards) and are accessible via the interface menu or with the "/sha config" slash command.
Options:
- Display style: spinning / fixed (like the minimap)
- Pattern: Pattern used for suggesting safe zones
- Color my pie
- Full color (Fully color pies predicting dread spray on pies 3 dread sprays ahead)
- Scaleble arrow for displaying your localtion
- Display is movable
- Display is resizeable
- Colors are fully customizable
- Test option to help with setting up the addon the way you like it
Default colors:
- Green Pie: Suggested safe zone.
- Red Pie: Dread Spray there now.
- Orange/Yellow Pie: Dread Spray there next or soon.
- Blue Pie: You are in that pie. A pie is only colored blue if none of the above are true for the pie.
If you want to help with translating the addon to non English languages, you can do that at the wowace localization page.
Display code and some more heavily based on the BigWigs Proximity display.
Pleaes open a ticket at: http://www.wowace.com/addons/shaoffearassist/tickets/and describe your issue in as much detail as possible.
The new settings (listed as Options in the desc) aren't showing for me and the only thing /sha config does is bring up the frame.
Make sure you are running version 1.2.
I notice that the newest update shows all pies colored now. Was this to make it more akin to that Blood Legion addon, which showed all dead zones as they happened, and the green showing what will be the constant safespot?
The feature was requested. Made it default because it is more informational. (Should help more, once you get the hang of it)
Would be cool, if it would work like the Mini Map, and not rotate with the player while moving
There is an option to change how the display works. You can toggle it by /sha style. If you get the latest alpha version you can bring up the configuration menu with /sha config. There you can change a lot of the ways how the display will interact with you.
Is there a command to bring up a moveable anchor for it while not in the encounter?
I can't see any configuration options in the interface menu.
All good, I found it.
The command is "/sha" if anyone else needs it.

Turning off the blue pie is a possibility for the future. I don't think coloring a pie green once dread spray was there would work, since it can be there again very soon sometimes. However, I can imagine coloring the pies based on threat level, like if a pie won't get hit for 4+ sprays make it bright yellow, 2+ orange, 1- red. However I don't think the green pies will change. Knowing the most optimal safest pie position is essential.
I was wondering if you could make an option take off the blue pie and also to color the places he has already used dread spray with green showing where he has already casted it during that rotation, then rest when he starts over.
The player arrow is way too tiny.
It scales with the displays size. Do you find it being small even if you make the display bigger?
I can say it does NOT scale with display size on mine. its tiny regardless
edit: ok i lied, it scales, but it doesnt scale well. Still needs to be much larger imo
line 402 change to myblip:SetSize(80, 80) or whatever size you want maybe?
Testing out tonight. I'll post any findings (if I remember to come back).
Thanks been looking for someone to Post this.. will test it out tomorrow
