SimpleHalo
A very simple range display for the level 90 Priest talent, Halo.
Features
- Small simple display for positioning yourself for Halo
- Indicator only appears and checks ranges while you're in combat
- Plus/Minus indicator for repositioning. Minus means you're too close, Plus means you're too far away.
- Green Light: Halo Sweet Spot
- Yellow Light: Slightly outside the sweet spot
- Red Light: Far outside the sweet spot
- White: Unit (default is Target) does not exist
- Several options for when to show the indicator
- Solo, party, and raid options
- By default only shows when you enter into combat
- Option to always show when the group filter matches (I.E. Show when out of combat)

The only thing I miss would be on option to show only if Halo is on cooldown : I already have a weakAura detecting the cooldown and showing an icon when available, it would be great to be able combine this with the range indicator.

Posted Dec 22, 2014Great and lightweight addon. Really relied on it during MoP, but it longer loads except in configuration mode and that's only for a few seconds :(.

Posted Dec 22, 2014Are you sure you have the latest version? I fixed an issue with the 6.0.2 patch at the beginning of November. If you're on the latest version, do you get any error messages (try turning on Show Lua Errors in the WoW options)

Posted Dec 24, 2014I have the latest version,1.0.13, via Curse client. I'm not getting any LUA errors from any addon. Are there any known conflicts with BigWigs, MFClip, Healbot, Recount, or WeakAuras?

Posted Jan 20, 2015I haven't bsent able to reproduce your issue and haven't had a similar report from anyone else. Can you try uninstalling and deleting your saved variables?

Posted Oct 14, 2014Great addon thank you ! I just tried it with 6.02, but unfortunately it seems to dissapear after i unclick the "configuration mode", even when "show out of combat" is checked ...
Also, th eoptins do not show in the interface - addon menu, you have to use / halo to access them.

I didn't have any issue with seeing the options under the interface - options - addons section.

Posted Jun 18, 2013If I enter Inferface/AddOns menu, there are no options at all.
There is an entry for SimpleHalo, but it is empty... In Addons menu SimpleHalo AND SimpleHalo Optiins is marked.
Any idea how to enter the options?

Posted Jun 18, 2013If you click the entry in the Interface options it should load the Options and refresh your screen. This is how it works on my own install. You can also load the options with one of the slash commands. /simplehalo or /halo

Posted Jun 7, 2013The "Lock Frame" option isn't working. Whether it's checked or not, I'm still able to move the indicator. Otherwise, excellent addon. Keep up the good work on it.

Posted Jun 7, 2013Latest alpha should fix this. Looks like the lock setting wasn't being applied live. Checking the box and reloading should have applied the setting previously. But it should work as expected now. I'll test it after work and tag a release then, but don't have time this morning.

Posted Apr 18, 2013Really, really like this addon, but until I can set it to show both in and OUT of combat, rather than just appear after combat starts, I can't use it. Halo is a part of my opener, and I like getting to optimal range before a boss pull, so I don't have to immediately move.
Other than that, I love the way it looks, and especially how lightweight it is compared to Halo Pro, which I'd rather not use.
