SorhaQuestLog

Table of Contents

SorhaQuestLog is a basic Quest/Achievement addon similar to MonkeyQuest and nQuestLog.
It allows the display of quests and achievements on the screen in an configurable way.

Options panel is accessible using /sql or /sorhaquestlog

Quest Controls

Hidden Quests

Click the square at the top of the tracker to show/hide hidden quests
Right-click a quest to show or hide it.

Zones

Left-click a zone to collapse/expand it
Right-click a zone to open a menu to show/hide quests
Alt + right-click a zone to open a menu to show/hide zones

Quests

Left-click a quest to open quest text pane. (Alt-Left if you enable full log option)
Alt + Left-click a quest to open quest in world map log (Left if you enable full log option)
Control left-click a quest to set it as the active quest tracking
Alt + Ctrl left-click a quest to abandon it. (Can disable confirm dialog in options)

Features

Individual Minions for Quests, Achievements and Scenarios
Auto Show/Hide options when entering instances, arenas, combat, pet battles, the outside world etc.
Can hide the default blizzard quest frame
Handles blizzards remote quests
Borders and background for minions

Quest Log Minion Features:

Expandable/collapsible zone headers
Auto collapsing/expanding zone headers as you change zones
Hide Zone headers when all their quests are hidden
Expand collapse menu available using alt-right-click on a zone
Hide quests by right-clicking the quest or by selecting it from its zone headers right-click menu
Hide completed objectives
Can completely hide quest tracker when tracking no quests
Hide or re-size item buttons
Colour objective texts and statuses by completeness(gradual) , state(done/undone) or choose a custom colour
Colour quest titles and level texts by level, completeness(gradual) , state(done/undone) or choose a custom colour
Changeable fonts, font shadowing and font sizes for Zones, Quests and Objectives
Adjustable indentation for quests and objectives
Option to display only the quest details pane of the quest log when left-clicking a quest. (Alt left click to get the full quest log panel)
Ctrl left-click a quest to set it as the active quest for blizzards minimap tracker, (Dugi arrow support)
Alt + Ctrl left-click a quest to abandon it. (Can disable confirm dialog in options)

Achievement Minion Features:

Customizable text by choosing fonts, sizes, shadowing and colours.
Customizable textures for progress bars
Optional progress status bars for the achievements that can have them
Option to limit the number of tasks displayed per achievement

Notification Features:

Customizable sounds for quest/objective complete and quest starting item picked up notifications.
Choose custom sounds for quest completions and objective completions
Re-direct the objective completion messages elsewhere with LibSink

OK, just downloaded a fresh copy of the addon from here...looks like the version being released here is from last September. If you use the Twitch/Curse downloader switch to alpha releases for Sorha so you can get r219-alpha. While that release (on its own) won't work, you'll be able to change the code that I mentioned.

Hey,

first: Great addon! But I have a small wish as a perfectionist:

Can you make the small square button skin-,scale- & moveable at the top of the quest tracker? (I think it is 11x12 (1 pixel shadow? Bug?) at the moment)

Also: Can you add the funtion so collapse the whole log on click on the square as in vanilla? Sometimes I just don't need to see quests and I would love to be able to show/hide them with the square. :)

Best quest & objective tracker available atm. But need few extra features. Like maximum height limit + scroll and option to align text right or left.

I have a small "Bug" with the "Hide on Flightpath" Option. Your Addon randomly ticks "Hide all Sorha Questlog" Box by itself (i think AI is born^^) and i have to manually untick it.

Now i have no idea why this happens since Buggrabber doesnt spit out any Errors (strange). I noticed this happens when i use the new "Flightpoints" in Argus, maybe this is the Problem. Can you/someone reproduce this behavior?

Hi, is there a way to still see the popups you get from random started quests? I've been using this addon forever and I had to redo some UI stuff. In the time I didn't have SQL installed I noticed I had 3 or 4 popup quests waiting to be accepted. Also curious about quests that you have to open to complete (no quest giver turn in). Is there a way to set a notification or something?

The RemoteQuests minion should display those popups that would appear in the default tracker. For most of them you instantly accept the quest so the popup is just for show.

I think if you didn't have the popup for a hand in you could probably do it by clicking the quest to see the log and seeing if there is a hand in button.. I will try test ^_^

This addon is what I think I've been looking for..

Is there a way to make my completed objectives a different color from the uncompleted ones? Can't seem to find it.

Something gets very funky with scale when you anchor the different trackers.

The Achievement Tracker is anchored to Scenario Tracker, which is anchored to Remote Quests Tracker, which is then anchored to the Quest Tracker.

I'm anchoring them together, because I really want to prevent overlapping trackers.

Been using them unanchored until now, but have had to be careful not to track too many items.

Hmm, can I ask what settings you are using on the trackers?
Any minion scales not 1, widths etc.

In my case I keep mine under the minimap, have Scale: 1 and Width: 206 on them, and anchored Quest->Scenario->Achieve->Remote

Hello, first of all thank you for this amazing addon!

I have enabled the quest tracker options: suppress blizzard notification messages & use for objective notification messages, output: MikSBT Static.

I would like to ask why there is spacing between the objectives

for instance why does it say: 1 / 6, instead of just 1/6 which would look better. Or is there an option to fix this? Thank you!

edit: 2nd question, is there a way to keybind Quest Item? Thanks!

Honestly I don't know why.. kinda just did it that way when I first made it.

Around Quests.lua:3546 (In function SQLQuestLogData:CompleteCheck) you should see some strings like "(%s) %s : %s / %s".

Removing the spaces there would change that.

Am putting a new version live hopefully tonight that adds a keybind for a smartitem button, uses the quest item of the quest you are closest to with an item.

Which of course is a bit derpy at times with 2 items near each other :(

Hi!

To begin this, great addon!

I'm having small issue though... When I'm doing "kill this"-quests, I'm getting the quest-information in my tooltip like I should.
But when I'm doing "gather this from this mob"-quests I'm not getting any info about the number of items collected from mobs.

There should be for an example "Elder brown bear flank x/x on the tooltip but there isn't one... Any ideas?

Not too sure on that one. I steer clear of altering the game tooltip as much as I can.

It might just be that those quests (especially that one being rather old) don't have it built into them.

Will look into it though ^_^
