sRaidFrames
sRaidFrames was originally designed to replace the raid frames provided by CT_RaidAssist. They share the same look and feel of the original frames, but are highly optimized and even include extra features such as aggro highlighting and display of PVE critical abilities.
Feel free to submit pull-requests on GitHub: https://github.com/tomsommer/sRaidFrames/pulls
Includes HealComm support

Posted Sep 3, 2012Thanks to Shuntaec, it got me started
I finished fixing it up and it should work (at least it does for me)
Some common problems fixed:
1) Frames would not show on login and would have to sort by class then group again
2) Frames would not update
3) Range check would spout LUA errors

this is not a malicious link. If you want to try it let me know if there's any problems

Posted Sep 2, 2012OK I've fixed the LUA errors locally, mostly by updating the underlying lib's API calls, but in the case of one I had to do some rewriting and I'm unsure how correct it is.
There are 3 underlying libs that need updates. From easiest to hardest...
sRaidFrames/libs/LibBanzai-2.0/LibBanzai-2.0.lua
On line 34 change "GetNumRaidMembers()" to "GetNumGroupMembers()"
Next is LibTalentQuery, which has been updated. Get the new one http://www.wowace.com/media/files/619/798/LibTalentQuery-1.0-r89.zip
Extract that into sRaidFrames/lib/
The third library I did some more significant updates to, and all in the file:
sRaidFrames/libs/LibGroupTalents-1.0/LibGroupTalents-1.0.lua
While that mod isn't updated yet (I'm not the author) I posted my latest contents of the file in full at pastebin:
http://pastebin.com/XgqyGXSw
Hopefully the author can use this to upload a fully working version. If not if you just want those pesky LUA errors gone for now, grab my latest stuff :-)

Posted Aug 29, 2012Still getting errors with this new version.
When not in a a group or raid, I am getting this error when mousing over a player. I think it is the same when in a raid

Posted Apr 13, 2012Hello - I've managed to add basic pet unit frames support to sRaidFrames. It's basically an updated version of this patch: http://www.pcgod.org/srf-petsupport.diff (that's pre-dk and will not work as is). I do not know who did the original work.
To use download this file linked below, unzip & replace your original sRaidFrames mod folder with this. Pet support is implemented in the original default groups. However there is no interface option to add them to an existing group. The best way I've found is to start with the default 'Groups' template and modify everything except the pets group. The mod reinitialize the three base groups to a fixed default so you can reload & repeat if you have multiple groups you want to do. I realize that's something of a bad hack - but I don't have the time & expertise to fix that right now. I thought it better to get this posted now.

Posted Feb 23, 2012Thanks for updating this add on. I used to use CTRA but i must say this is much easer to use from a shaman healing view. One little thing i would like to see is role marks for all or tanks only. From what iv seen only the Default ui raid frames have such a thing. Iv joined many random raids and never been able to see the tanks very well and with them leaving and new ones joining every fight its hard to /focus them all for Es.
Thanks for keeping this amazing add on alive all the best Qub

Posted Jan 25, 2012Is this lighter in terms of memory then Grid or XperRaidAdmin?
I'm looking for a lightweight raid frame, i simply can't deal with the fact that the Standart Raid Frames aren't customizable in size, it just cramps up my screen so i'm forced to use Grid, but if i could find a lighter alternative i'd stick with it.
Cheers!

Posted Jul 25, 2011Thank you for the update. I've never seen comfortable raid frames except sraidframe last 4 years. I hope that it show cooldownmodel on buffs and debuffs instead of count numbers, because the number is hard to see. when I cast lifebloom, I have to check stack and time but it's not possible to show kind of two numbers on one icon

Posted Jul 21, 2011Thank you for the updates gentlemen. Even after 5 years I still return to these frames after trying others. Great flexibility with an easy to use config seems to make these a unique package. Thanks again for your time.
