Sweetsour's Shaman Auras
Introduction
Like myself, I know there's a lot of people that enjoy the functionality that Weak Auras has to offer; in fact, some of you may remember the Shaman Weak Auras package I offered. Though, the one downside with Weak Auras when dealing with larger packages is multiple import strings and a somewhat sloppy installation process. In light of this, I've decided to make the whole process much easier for the end-user and offer a solution that has is far easier than having to setup a large Weak Auras package.
The addon has evolved from Weak Auras, so it has that familiar feel that you're used to. Thanks to thousands of users testing the addon, it has become something far greater than I originally expected!
How to Use
This addon has been designed to provide a high-level of customization, in terms of aura layout. It's a very simple process and can be achieved by doing the following.
- /ssa - Access "Home" window in Interface Options
- /ssa ele - Access Elemental customization options
- /ssa enh - Access Enhancement customization options
- /ssa res - Access Restoration customization options
Moving Frames
One of the most requested features was the implementation of being able to move all of the frames. It's very simple to do!
- Type "/ssa <spec>".
- Click the "Layout" tab.
- Click the "Move <spec> auras" button to open the aura movement utility.
- A grid will appear and the auras will become moveable.

Posted Sep 27, 2016Ever since the new update resto hasn't been showing up. Error on load and error on loading the preferences.
AceLocale-3.0: ShamanAuras: Missing entry for 'Aura Settings'
Nothing shows up when I try to move the aura bars.

Great work, been a fan for a while now. Have been importing the strings and things have been working just fine.
Then I realised I wanted to change things up a bit and chanced upon your Curse Addon. So I downloaded it and have been trying for the past hour to get the Weak Auras to pop up.
Is there somewhere I need to turn it on or something? Have it installed via the Curse App. Have checked the "Show Resto Shaman Auras" box too.

Posted Sep 24, 2016I don't know what is going on with mine. downloaded a version 3 days ago and nothing showed up at all. I figured it was just an issue. I downloaded the updated version this morning. I click move enhance frames nothing shows up. I enter combat and attack things, nothing shows up. I clicked reset frames, and it didn't look like anything happened. I can see all the options if I type /ssa enh, but nothing actually shows up auras wise. If you can help me out that would be great because these auras look awesome. Thanks.

Posted Sep 24, 2016Apologies, I mentioned it in my earlier versions but Enhancement hasn't been implemented yet. I've had Elemental and Resto released because they're my two main specs, so I have to learn about Enhancement first. With Ele and Resto getting closer to being polished, I'll be able to focus on getting Enhancement implemented sooner than later, hopefully.

Posted Sep 24, 2016Oh, gotcha. thanks for the quick reply. The main things I would like to see for enhancement are keeping track of the Hailstrom/Frostbrand Buff, Flametongue buff, Stormbringer procs, Stormstrike CD, artifact CD, and Spirit Wolves CD. I have a few but they are just ugly progress bars.

Just downloaded the r6 beta. Still can't move the resto auras. I tried move all, moving individual ones, using modifiers (ctrl, alt,) and none of the frames move.

Posted Sep 25, 2016I've been thinking about doing that. I'd do it via interface options to allow players to add custom glow effects. I'm not sure how much time and work that'll take, I'll come back to that when I polish off the addon :)

Posted Sep 22, 2016There's a bar that should appear between the two rows of icons. Though, Resto seems to be rougher around the edges than I had anticipated. I'm currently putting the finishing touches on Elemental and hoping to get to Resto asap.

I've been using your weakauras since they are released in icyveins and I must say u did a great job. Last time I checked the site I heard u are working on an addon project and kept checking the site until I get my hands on it. First of all it works pretty well on my side. But I need to add a few things. Earthen shield totem, lightning surge totem,cloudburst totem cds aren't working for me. In your latest aura I can see this cds clearly and helped me alot in mythic dungeons. One more thing to add when I change earthgrab totem or lightning surge totem minor auras show the one which is not selected, so that doesnt help. If u add these stuff before raids which are tomorrow, I will be very pleased.

Posted Sep 20, 2016I was really hoping to get the addon to a stable point before today, but releasing the beta has revealed many unforeseen errors that only other users are experiencing. Sadly, it'll take an indefinite amount of time to investigate and resolve these issues.

Posted Sep 20, 2016Apologies everyone, I'm going to have to suspend the BETA until further notice.
After watching a stream of someone using my addon, there seems to be numerous errors that are happening on everyone's setup but mine. It's going to require a thorough investigation as to why this is happening.
