Sweetsour's Shaman Auras

Introduction

Like myself, I know there's a lot of people that enjoy the functionality that Weak Auras has to offer; in fact, some of you may remember the Shaman Weak Auras package I offered. Though, the one downside with Weak Auras when dealing with larger packages is multiple import strings and a somewhat sloppy installation process. In light of this, I've decided to make the whole process much easier for the end-user and offer a solution that has is far easier than having to setup a large Weak Auras package.

The addon has evolved from Weak Auras, so it has that familiar feel that you're used to. Thanks to thousands of users testing the addon, it has become something far greater than I originally expected!

How to Use

This addon has been designed to provide a high-level of customization, in terms of aura layout. It's a very simple process and can be achieved by doing the following.

/ssa - Access "Home" window in Interface Options
/ssa ele - Access Elemental customization options
/ssa enh - Access Enhancement customization options
/ssa res - Access Restoration customization options

Moving Frames

One of the most requested features was the implementation of being able to move all of the frames. It's very simple to do!

Type "/ssa <spec>".
Click the "Layout" tab.
Click the "Move <spec> auras" button to open the aura movement utility.
A grid will appear and the auras will become moveable.

Sadly, no. With how much work goes into just one class, it would be an enormous undertaking that I wouldn't have the time for. Sorry!

Hey Sweet,

First of, so glad you have updated it:)

Few bugs,

1: Maelstrom Trigger is not working for me

2: Elemental Auras, i only have flameshock/lavaburst/stormkeeper/earthquake but there is a aura showing even though everything else is unticked, it's a hammer with yellow around it, think it's a enhancement spell.

Hmm, sounds like you may be experiencing a bug. If no bugs are popping up, try typing "/console scriptErrors 1" (no quotes) in your chat and reload your UI.

Also, the Maelstrom trigger was causing issues, so I disabled it for the time being. InI hoping to re-enable it in the next update!

Have no bugs popping up, tried the /console scriptErrors 1 & /reload ui and it's still there.

Tried Bugsack & BugGrabber for about 12 hours and there was no bugs.

One thing i have noticed is that under elemental display/auras Tremor Totem is not listed to uncheck, maybe that is why it is being displayed?

p.s It is deffo the Tremor Totem icon as i used it and the icon that is on my screen started a cooldown.

I know this is not major but i have severe OCD and it drives me crazy....lol

Sorry, I misinterpreted the issue in thinking that auras weren't properly loading for you, not that you manually turned off a bunch. Though, it does look like I forgot to include the toggle for Tremor Totem in the config, I'll be sure to add it in the next update :)

Dear Sweetsour!

I really like Your addon and would like to configure it right for my personal use. Besides some ideas I got some issues which need to be fixed. I don't know if these issues are generell issues or if they just appear in my personal use.

One major problem is that some abilities wont show a GCD and no stack charges! This is a big problem for me because it confuses the eye and therefore the control and overview over the situation.

Once i was able to configure Your addon that the GCD was showing on all abilities which were affected by the GCD but it didnt hold for long. I tried everything, even go through every addon that i use to see if there were some confliction between yours and an other one; sadly with no luck.

In the case of the stacks, i wasnt able to get it once configured.

I see forward to work with You on the issue and would be glad to give Your my additional Ideas for Your addon.

Does anyone else has issues with other addons when this one is enabled? Shadowed Unit Frames is not updating the health bars when this one is on.

Hey, absolutely love this add-on, what are the chances of this same setup coming out for other classes? I got rid of Tellmewhen on my shaman

I love this addon- I'm not very good at using Weakauras. I was wondering if you play any other classes and whether it would be possible to adapt this for other classes? My other toons feel naked without this awesome addon :)

It's always great to hear players who are enjoying my addon, thank you for that!

Alas, as with many others who have asked, I haven no plans to branch my addon out to other classes due to how much work it has been just for Shaman alone, sorry!

However, I'm starting up a new idea where I'll be working on WeakAuras (for myself, or by request) on my Twitch channel. If you'd like any made with the intent on learning how to use WeakAuras, I'd be happy to stream it :)

All good! My shammy is my main so I play her mostly. I've figured out a couple of basic things in Weak auras with the help of a guildie, but I'd definitely be keen to watch a few tutorials :)

I have a question the aura pops up for the new T20 set bouns but can i move/remove the timer on it and how ?it covers the number of stacks you have for crash lightning
