Touhin Loot Monitor
Touhin! A visual loot monitor.
Notable fancies:
- Flexible positioning and display options
- Filter loot shown based on quality
- Highlighted quest items
- Combined money gains
/touhin
to toggle the anchor, /touhin config
to open the options window.
For a complete XLoot replacement, in addition to Touhin for XLoot Monitor, I suggest trying Butsu by haste for XLoot and tekLoot by tekkub for XLoot Group.
Love the addon! Is it possible to add an feature so when I click on one of the loot frames the addon will automatically open a whisper to that person so I can PM her? Thanks!
This is one of my very fav addons totally awesome, is there any wey to fix the SetBackdrop bug at the moment in prepatch ?
updated: I have fixed the code, no worries :)
In reply to tacblades:
wanna share with others?
i've just disabled the addon. i don't know if this will ever get updated for prepatch or SL expansion. hasn't been updated in over a year.
Just means nothing has changed :p (Or that I'm terrible at actually pushing changes)
In reply to nebula169:
Manually install it into the addons folder
Is there anyway to hide the loot window in this addon?
This addon is perfect its just what I wanted for loot without all the crazy personal loot rolling junk.
is it still being maintained, and is there a way to set the opacity of the background ?
Thanks
@tordenflesk
really wish curse would email about wowace comments ;[ added in some stuff for sizing/removing the icon and disabling colors. the latter is grouped into one setting for both the border and the background, try playing with that to see how that works for ya
thanks~
I would love if i could scale/remove the icons, also be able to disable the shading of the border. I like to keep my borders a consistent shade, and I think the colour of the item-link is informational enough.
Cool! More comfortable options gui than in XLootMonitor. But, how to turn the fade function off?
And, could you add the functionality of XLootGroup in your addon? It would be great!
I use tekLoot (image) instead of XLoot Group, so I don't really have a need to reimplement it. As for disabling fade, I assume you mean you just want the frame to hide without fanciness? Try downloading r38 and set the fade duration to 0~
Thanks :p
TeksLoot haven't so nice options gui.
No, I mean, I want to disable hiding of frames.
I see. That is kind of an awkward request, but ok! lol
Great! Thanks for the changes. The way you chose to handle quest items was much better than my suggestion.
I'm glad you like it :p
I've been playing around with something like that but never committed it~ I don't like the idea of adding "Quest" as an item quality, but I added an option so you can always show quest items regardless of thresholds. I also decoupled individual/total item counts so you always see individual gains and made the existing total option for showing/hiding the total count.
Nice job on this. Thanks for sharing your work.
Just an idea...what about making "Quest" one of the filter levels since you're checking that info for highlighting anyway, filtering out white and below unless the item is a quest item?
Poor, Common, Quest, Uncommon, etc.
Also, could showing both the looted number and total number of an item be possible? For example,
x3 [Silk Cloth] 26
I never think to check other locales, so thanks :p I've noticed the looted total number has been incorrect as of late, as well. I'm not sure if latency plays a role (some delay between loot text message and when the bags are updated) or if I'm just crazy and never noticed the counts being off before ;[ I do vaguely remember pondering over this issue before, so I'll watch it a bit closer.
lots of settings and full sharedmedia support are coming, slowing working on it :p there are a few annoying issues i'm trying to work out before getting to the pretty
Great, I missed XLoot Monitor since I decided to get rid of Ace2 addons. Just modified Touhin a bit to fit my tukui better. (Feature suggestion: configurable spacing) :: http://www.sariash.de/screenshots/wow/TouhinModded.png
