UnicodeFont
Enables you to see Chinese, Japanese and other languages in game.
Also adds "UnicodeFont" to LibSharedMedia-3.0, so you can select to use the font in addons which support LibSharedMedia-3.0.
Chatter Users: You will need to setup Chatter to use UnicodeFont, type /chatter, in "Chat Font" and "Edit Box Polish" set the Font to UnicodeFont.
The font included is GPL v2 licensed
The WenQuanYi Zen Hei is a Hei-Ti style (sans-serif type)
Chinese outline font. It was designed for general purpose text
formatting and on-screen display of Chinese characters among
many other languages. The embolden strokes of the font glyphs
produces enhanced screen contrast, making it easier to read
recognize. The embedded bitmap glyphs further enhance on-screen
performance, which can be enabled with the provided
configuration files.
WenQuanYi Zen Hei provides fairly complete coverage to Chinese
Hanzi glyphs, including both simplified and traditional forms.
The total glyph number in this font is over 35,000, including over
21,000 Chinese Hanzi. This font provides full coverage to
GBK(CP936) charset, CJK Unified Ideographs, as well as the
code-points needed for zh_cn, zh_sg, zh_tw, zh_hk, zh_mo,
ja (Japanese) and ko (Korean) locales for fontconfig.

Posted May 3, 2013I'm using a Macbook, and I can't see any Chinese in my trade chat. However I can see guild chat in Chinese and wisper in Chinese. Is there anyway I can set up to see Chinese in Trade chat as well????

Posted Aug 22, 2012if u are using prat, u have to go to prat interface and select unicodefont in both "font" and " editbox"
after u did so, u should be able to see chinese, japanese, korean, etc.. hope it works for you guys

Posted Feb 1, 2012This addon has been working fine for a while, however today my game launcher did a "game reorganization" or whatever it was called, and I can no longer see chinese (back to question marks again). Pain pain pain ~~ need fixing. Uninstalled the addon via curse client and downloaded again to no avail.

Posted Oct 12, 2011It seems the addon doesn't support the non-breaking space (U+00A0), which is used in front of a lot of typographical characters in French. Instead it displays an interrogation mark.

no problem with displaying chinese with 1.80; however, group calendar or wow calendar shows nothing when using 1.80.

Posted Jan 5, 2011Hi Arabic is listed but it's 0/125 does that just mean the included font doesn't have it and we can simply use another font with it that does ? Or does it mean that currently Arabic is not a supported/working font with this addon? Thanks chief!
