Vanas KoS
Vanas KoS is a Kill-on-Sight notifier, that uses every possibility, to detect nearby KoS targets, and notifies the user in different ways. Additionally it records PvP-Stats in outdoor PvP and shows these in the tooltip (configurable).

Q: I see weird messages in my Chat Window on the Channel CrbZ????, What's up with that?
A: It's not normally supposed to be visible. But you can disable the displaying of that channel in the settings for the chat window. Just uncheck it there.

A: It seems that your computer is too slow. VanasKoS joins the Distributed Tracking Channels 20 seconds after login/changing the Zone. You can modify this value manually in WoW\Interface\AddOns\VanasKoS\modules\DistributedTracker.lua under "JOIN_DELAY".

Posted Mar 15, 2010The lists are stored on a per realm basis, not realmfaction. It's relatively simple to change it, but it would require an upgrade of everybody's database. I'll post a patch in the tickets and see if anybody has comments on it.

Posted Mar 15, 2010It seems like when I do "last seen" it doesn't give me the date of when I killed them. Is that just me, how you made it, or etc?
The other problem is once I have an alliance toon on and my horde kos is on my KoS goes insane when I see someone under the kill list. How could I fix this? It's hard because of the multi-faction on pvp server bullshiz.

Posted Dec 20, 2009The custom chat channel is for distributed tracking not for kos sharing. It changes each time you enter a new zone. It is the same channel used by carbonite.
Sharing still only works within the guild channel.

Posted Dec 20, 2009Hi, Is it possible to stop VanasKOS from joining the custom chat channel "CrbZ202011"? I use a number of other addons that also use chat channels, unfortunately, I have run out of channels to use. I have disabled the sharing feature, but it still joins the channel. Is there another way to prevent this?
