Vanas KoS
Vanas KoS is a Kill-on-Sight notifier, that uses every possibility, to detect nearby KoS targets, and notifies the user in different ways. Additionally it records PvP-Stats in outdoor PvP and shows these in the tooltip (configurable).

A: You can either send them to me with a license disclaimer that allows the distribution/packaging with vanaskos (if you own the rights) or You can add your own sounds by modifying WoW/Interface/AddOns/VanasKoS/modules/Notifier.lua The list of sounds is at the top of that file. Just put your extra sound files somewhere inside the WoW directory. VanasKoS uses LibSharedMedia-3.0 so it also has access to any other addon's sounds."
A: Fine, Thanks! It doesn't right now.

A: Write me a PM with your idea and experience - I'll review the idea and if it's finished include it in vanaskos, or if you want to develop more add you as a co-author.
Q: How much do you make with this addon?
A: Near to nothing - My (Vanas) payment/hour for VanasKoS is less than 10cents, don't worry though - it's a hobby for the authors, so the revenue isn't a factor for development, but it also means that the real-life job is more important, so bear with us when answers/development take a little longer.

Maybe the entries were created by somebody else in your guild, and you have "Mine only" checked?

I just got to work, so I won't be able to test that for awhile.
Sheesh been out of addon development way too long. Added the option to filter results in like 5 minutes, added a function in PvPDataGatherer to Log a hit and to compliment the win/loss system. Can't remember combatlog details, will work on it and post, figured would be at most a 30 min task, but not familiar with VanasKoS enough yet, will learn how it all works, then post it.
Sounds good fryre - send me a diff/patch when it's ready and I'll integrate it. If you're planning to do more I could add you as an author.
Heyas,
Simple feature request, if needed I'll add the code to my copy and post it as an example. But would like the ability to only gather data for combatants I have a duration with (if they hit me or I hit them). Where this wouldn't affect the notification's KoS log etc. Just the data gathering and/or display aspect.
Addon record frag kill in bg or other pvp zone
How to stop that ? (like 4.21)ty for answering :)
Its really takes time to load them in Wintergrasp and they are so much that i barely can see the dots of the incoming vehicles.
Also i realy like the warning window, there was a similar addon called "radar" in vanilla wow which i cant find nowhere anymore, it had different colors of the names (red, yellow, green) based on the time passed since the enemies were detected and there was an option to set the expire times of the warnings. Will be really nice to see this here too.
Thanks for the great addon!!!
Also, do you prefer wowace tickets/forum posts or are posts here in curse comments ok?
I think the position is remembered now, but I'll check later.
I like the wowace tickets, but posting other places are ok. I monitor them all. Sometimes I create tickets out of the outstanding issues posted other places anyway.
/run if SecureCmdOptionParse("[harm]") then SendChatMessage(format("Detected %s%s%s%s%s in %s at (%d,%d)", "${name}", ("${guild}" ~= "") and " <${guild}>" or "", ("${level}" ~= "") and " Level ${level}" or "", ("${race}" ~= "") and " ${race}" or "", ("${class}" ~= "") and " ${class}" or "", "${zone}", ${zoneX}, ${zoneY}), "CHANNEL", nil, GetChannelIndex("General")) end
into the warning window macro txt. When I click on a horde name in the Vanas Warning Window nothing gets posted into genchat. Am I doing something wrong or skipping a step? Also sometimes Vanas won't let me target horde from the Warning Window.

Maybe we need to add another substitution options so you can get faction without targeting them.
Also, if you're familiar with the other PvP mod Paranoia also on curse, is there any way that you can incorporate a way with a button press, to show a specific enemy's coords, location, guild, name, class and lvl the way Paranoia does? If you could, this would truly be the only PvP mod to have =D. Just wondering. Again, ty for all the work you've done on this mod, I recommend it to all my buds who do anything that involves being in a world pvp zone.
Other than that I don't see how I could determine the enemies coordinates?
