The problem is this: I open a WIM window, put in the link I want to whisper, but when I put it in, the link gets put in the text box twice. If there are any words typed before linking, they all get deleted and replaced with both links. After I delete one link and send what I wanted to in the first place, someone else whispers me, so I link what they wanted, and then the link posts the last linked item, plus the link I just tried to put in.
As you can see, this is very annoying. I have no clue what causes it. I do know that after a while of dealing with it, WIM seems to fix itself and stops having said problem.
When the previous issues occur, I also notice that the addon Misspelled doesn't work with WIM like it should (it doesn't work at all) even though it works fine in normal chat.
Please help :(
I love WIM. It's quite possibly my favorite addon, but I hate the problems I have to deal with on a multiple times a day basis...
You need to find out what addon is causing a conflict, turn off everything except wim and test. If the problem happens with ONLY wim on then it is a WIM issue, and you need to go to the wim web site and explain your issue for it to be resolved.
Else you'll probably always have this issue.
P.S. WOOO UPDATE!!!!!!!
I would like the windows to stay under everything else. If I'm using Ah with bags up for instance, if then someone talks in the guildchat the window will pop up over everything else, I could make it not pop up at all, but I don't want that.
I would also want the achievements earned by the guildmembers aswell as when people log on and off to show in the guildwindow.
And I would like the windows to dissapear completely if there is noone talking in it for an x amounts of second
And last, I would like to type in the last window I talked before, automaticly when pressing "enter" (not in the regular old wow chat-window. To type in the addons window I have to press it with my mouse).
What of these things can be done?
Check wimaddon.com's forums for an update. Pazza already posted about putting out an update to fix the 2 main bugs in WIM.
Wim is not dead, it's just filing it's taxes.
in a chat window itself, when i click the history button it isnt opening to that person's history. just simply opens the viewer then i have to scroll though and find find the person i am looking for. i am not sure if this is how it is intended to work, but is there any way you could make clicking that little icon in someone's chat window open to that specific person's history? i think this is a great idea, just sayin :) thanks.
It's similar and most importantly, its updated.
