Just a reminder to all: You are more likely to get a response to feature requests and bug reports if you post them on the official site at WIMaddon.com.

It's also good to note that right now Pazza is focusing on the plethora of chat changes coming in 3.5 as they will definitely be breaking WIM. Thanks for your continued support!

had wim for ages but the guild started using Guildomatic for dkp which is great as its via our site but thing is with wim up everyone gets two wispers back with it off they get one wisper back is there anyway to sort this out as i love my wim but i have to have it off for raids which is quite annoying as one of the Main tanks i cant stop and read wispers on boss fights hense loving wim to do it after. btw if you need the mod im talking about to check its here http://www.guildomatic.com/meta/downloads

Kind of defeats the purpose of embedding a demo video if you make the demo video private...

Love this addon, along with Prat 3.0. I'm currently in the PTR and I'm hoping both WIM and Prat will be modified to work with the new chat interface coming in 3.3.5.

Hi, first thanks for this addon. I have a question :
Before i was using WIM, when i /w "X person", and press "enter" after having /w him, it kept me on /w "X person". But with WIM, when i /w someone and then re press enter, i am on /say. Is there a possibility to stay on /w?

i love this addon but i had to disable it because whenever i had this on any of my toons and i went into combat, the whole screen except a rectangle in the middle would darken considerably... anyone know how to fix it? BTW im 100% this addon is doing it.

Hi Pazza, Thanks for the fantastic addon.

Do you ever accept bounties for features?

I've been dying for an alt-tab (or ctrl-tab or whatever) type message window switching feature... it was in an older version way back in the day, but since the rewrite, it hasn't really made its way back in.

WIM (WoW Instant Messenger) v3 3.3.4

* Still at times does not show a person from another realms PST. It will bring up the window, but not display the text. I have had to have many battleground players tell me in raid chat instead. Can you please ensure this is properly fixed. It gets to be a bit annoying.

I have been going through and refreshing all my addons as I am just getting back into the game for the first time in a long time, and have updated WIM. I was able to open up the options tab by right clicking the WIM icon on the minimap, which was very nice and simple.

However, I accidentally closed the options window ingame after I had changed a setting about being able to see new messages by right clicking the icon, and when I went to right click the WIM icon on the minimap, it didn't drop down a menu. This is understandable, due to my alteration of the settings, but now I cannot figure out how to get to the options window a different way. I have tried unloading WIM and reloading it, but I still cannot get it to work.

Any suggestions? Thank you.

Does the bug with NIL Error anytime fixed? I wait now almost for an 1/2 year of it!

First can i say I love this addon, and would love for it to work again. I downloaded the new one tonight, however it is showing it in the default chat when i write in the WIM window, even tho i have it ticked.. any suggestions?

Right click the location icon in a WIM window and you get a list of profile links. New one inclues WoWHead

Posted new update. This update fixes a bunch of errors everyone has reported specially the one regarding Expose.lua. I have deleted many of the redundant code dump posts which users have submitted... Really, that's irritating. You want to show the code dump, open a ticket. Some of you did (thank you to those folks). If you are not lazy enough to come here and share your errors, please squeeze out the little more effort it takes to use curse's ticket system. it is a big help. Thank you.

I am with "World Chat" - "Trade" enabled.
"Never Pop" and "No History" are checked.
"Never Supress" is unchecked.

Messagens continue to appear in the default chat frame.
I want Trade messages only in a WIM window.

What to do?
