wish i could help with reproducing this lag problem as well; it has happened to me twice, but i have tons of other addons and for me, it only lags when i'm in combat or something. basically i won't even know someone has whispered me until they whisper me again, and then i can see the original message with original timestamp, the original message again with their latest message's timestamp and their latest message (which will have popped up instantly).
hope that makes sense somehow >> 3 lines of IMs if I only missed 1 of them from say 2 hours beforehand.

but yeah it only seems to happen if that initial IM is when I'm in combat..

thanks so much for the great addon, looking forward to the tabbing feature and whatever else may be added :)

I was wondering if you were ever planning on updating the shaman class color, its been the wrong one for a number of versions now. The correct hex color should be 2459FF, it currently is set to 00dbba in the Constants.lua file

Ah, the thankless addon community. If some of these guys spent money on adds like they do on porn and pop, we would have truly stellar addons, BUT, since you don't, please don't gripe about what you want. he's trying something different and sometimes that takes a little time to implement. I do, however, have one question; why does it say it was updated a few hours ago when the version number is the same as the version released on the 16th? Am I missing something? Thanks for the addon mano and if you see fit to get tabs in sometime soon....it would be awesome. If you need some pop, call me...I can put in an order.

Is anyone else experiencing a bit of lag whenever you get a whisper with WIM? I'm trying to put my finger on what causes this but so far I've had no success.

It's a great mod don't get me wrong. Where were you when the beta was happening? I kept looking at wowinterface beta mods to see wim and it wasn't there. I understand it takes time to add all the features and I appreciate the time you take to make this mod. Right now I can't use it because every time someone sends me a message, there's no option to keep the cursor from trying to type in the message window. It get's annoying when the window is up. Hope it get's halfway done before launch. Get rid of the floating box on the titan panel, it's really stupid. I'm sure everyone is not looking for flashy designs just something that works. =)

I don't like this wim. The older version was much better. There's absolutely no reason to change to a new style of wim. If it's not ugly, don't change it. I find this wim to be very annoying.

I agree with you. If it isn't ugly, don't change it. However the older WIM no longer works with WoW 3.0... This made an opportune time to rewrite it from scratch. Don't expect 3 years of features to be finished in the 3 months that I've been working on it. You don't like it? I can give you a refund.. wait? how much did I charge you? kthnxbye

Are you guys serious?! If you don't like the new WIM then just DON'T USE it you ret*rds.

And, StrangeWill, in what Century do you live? Bandwidth? Drive Space? You've got to be kidding me, right? This HAS to be a joke.

If the work of others don't fit your expectations, try it on your own, lets see what you're capable of. But, the hell, leave him alone, Pazza did a great job so far. I'm using WIM because without it the whispers and such are far more annoying than the new style of WIM ever could.

So, Pazza, you did a great job until now, you have my gratitude for this. :-)

You need criticism to make a good product. Pazza makes the mod, but we perfect it. What the community wants should get if possible. It's about making the WoW players happy with the mod or else don't share it at all. Nobody is putting him down or the mod. Wim is one of the greatest mods out there. Without Pazza's idea, we'd be missing a lot of messages during raids. :)

I agree with you, as long as it concerns bugs, errors and such. But it is an totally different story if someone complains about Style- or Design-stuff.

You just can't set it for everybody straight. There are ever ppl out there which don't like this and that on a Design.

I have a nice aphorism for this: "Make it work. Make it right. Make it beautiful. Make it fast." - think about it. ^^

WIM has to be one of the greatest mods out there, as a GM of a pretty large guild I'd die without it. Thank you for all your work on this one!

I do miss tabbed windows though, hopefully that will be returning soon. : )

Whenever I minimize windows (which I have to do in order to function) my WoW fatal errors. Every time. I really rely on this addon to save me from going crazy with whisper spam...and not being able to minimize the window makes me have to run without it. Is there a way to fix this?

I know someone already said it...but is there a way to make it so when a window pops up, it doesn't automatically make us type there? I'll be halfway through a sentence to the guild, or another user, and then I'll end up sending the second half of the message to someone new.

Also....PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD bring back tabbed windows.

anybody can tell me how to disable the sound? I hate it and I can not find any option to disable or change it :(
