Works fine for me.
Please check your settings and AddOns that might interfere.
I had an issue where my own text in whisper history was being saved, but not other people's. I downloaded the newest version of WIM, but the issue stills persists. Is there some network reason this is could be happening?

WIM history is working fine for me, I need you to provide more information.
First, please check your message history settings in WIM's config.
Please ensure you have the lua error display enabled or using an Addon like BugGrabber + BugSack.

My Add-On list reports the WIM is up to date for WoW version 3. ??
I know there have been updates MUCH MUCH more recently that version 3. ??
Is that an error on Twitch
Should we ignore that or does it deserve some attention on our part?
In reply to lionsmike:
It's simply bugged atm.
e.g. it shows 5.1.0 for VuhDo.
Just ignore it and if you want to check manually, simply use the file repository which shows the correct number.
In reply to Pantasaron:
I created a ticket for your issue @ https://www.wowace.com/projects/wim-3/issues/563
Hey, love the addon been using since... cna't remember, forever? 1 major flaw that I find in it is the inability to report whispers. Because after they leave the party the only other way is to right click the chat and with the WIM I can only ignore. Would love to have a report button ASAP:x best wishes.
In reply to Forge_User_13359016:
You can initiate reports via right clicking the player's name in your WIM chat window.
The report system will be changed with 8.2 which should offer a easier/better integration.
Been using this addon since Wrath, couldn't imagine playing without it. It's essential!
Please would you be able to add support for WoW Community group chat?
In reply to Forge_User_06496434:
Due to limited time, I can only answer with a definitive maybe.
This feature was requested since BfA beta and it's quite some work.
So it might take some time to see it implemented.
Doesn't really work for me since the last patch, when i reply to PM or simply send PM, my chat box disappear / gone totally empty or dont load new message :(
Edit : This bug doesnt appear with latest ALPHA release
WIM hasn't worked for me since 3.7.21 - all subsequent builds, including 3.7.22, produce the same errors: when I click on a RealID name, the WIM window appears but when I type into the window and send, nothing appears. The sound works and I can hear that the whisper was sent and I hear the sound when the person I whispered to replies. I get a blank LUA error screen when I first send the message.
Again, version 3.7.21 works fine for me, so going back to that for now.
In reply to mcaoifeda:
2. Go to the WIM options (/wim) and in the main options, click Message Formatting and uncheck the box labeled Display Emoticons.
Do a reload (logout or via /run ReloadUI() ) and test if you can see whispers again.
In reply to humfras:
Even after the last update I'm still getting this Error. Happens when I do Shift+r, or even try to reply to a whisper. Also sets the focus to the chat window, rather than a WiM window.

In reply to Swarfy:
Because there is no way you can get a nil error at that part of the code anymore.
Thank you so very much for the latest update. I know it takes a lot of work to keep these up and that you have other things to do!
In reply to spliffmaster:
The 3.7.20 release should be available now.
It would be time to pass the addon to 8.1.0 because we have bug when we do a / who on wow or when we whispers to someone. Take action. It is getting long, you are putting a lot of time to update your addon to each patch.
