looking to filter out askprice (Auctioneer) queries - so if someone whispers me ?[ITEM] i do not get a popup.
I have looked, but either not using the right keywords or just not out there yet. Solution?
note: this is in wow classic
In reply to OrnoJin:
Give this a try. I admit i had a difficult time myself.
Can u fix pls problem with minimap button
my setting of this addon do not allow it to show new windows when i received messages, i watching it at standard way, but it nice to look at windowed mod when i want to check or do not miss some conversations
if someone whispered to me, i replay as usual way from R button and use general chat tab
when i receive the message, minimap button is highlighting
but wen i answered on message it still blinking, but it shouldn't - because i already read the message and my answer - is greatest evidence of it
can u fix it pls?
In reply to fantara1:
OK i think i understand. You're not actually viewing the message in the window, you are just replying to it using the regular chat chat. I will take a look and put out a fix tomorrow.
In reply to RealPazza:
yeah, you right
i will waiting for it ^^
tyvm!
In reply to RealPazza:
TYVM! it works well!
Latest update broke "r" command interaction.
In reply to IcerusKairos:
Please provide more details, especially which wow client and AddOn version you are using.
And any LUA errors.
The reply hotkey is working fine for me.
In reply to humfras:
Retail Wow version: 8.2.0 (31478) (Release x64)
No LUA errors...have gone back to previous 2 releases and problem still exists. Maybe it's something on my end if it's working on yours.
When trying to whisper, I have to initialize the command twice for it to correctly place the name in the chat bar for whisper. When replying with "r" I interact with wow main chat bar for whisper but not the WIM box.
This is on a character with NO OTHER ADDONS active. Just WIM.
*Edit: Slash Command option was disabled. Unsure how that occurred. In 10 years I've never touched the option settings.
Great addon, but i have a problem when i click on the name of for example in global channel no longuer shows me the lv and class of the player, a week a few days have passed but no update fix it.
In reply to Sackramento:
Have to assume you are referring to Classic. Blizzard removed the ability for an addon to do a who request. Who lookups are now defunct in WIM when run in classic. We try to gather the information available via other means when possible. For example, WIM will grab the user's class when the person messages (level is not available here). It will also provide you the users data if they are in your party/raid, friends list or guild.
In reply to RealPazza:
This is true, however for the 'Classic' version something needs to be done, because the moment I shift click someone's name in their (actual game) chat, the addon spews an error and then if you shift-click again in the bliz chat it stops working entirely. Likewise, after that happens, typing /who in the actual game's chat window results in a yellow msg that the command is being queued. Only reloading the ui resolves this.

+1 same thing for me! Was it another addon or is it a change of wim?

In reply to mojie126:
This along with the green box should be fixed in the latest update.
Classic Add Friends is a Green Box
The "update" button in the chat-frame does not work for me.
any idea to that regard (classic)...?
