This should be fixed now.
Listed as "out-of-date" prolly just needs a .toc update?
Server names are currently done by replacing spaces.
if i "Right-Click for profile links..." and select "WoW Armory" it gives me a faulty link.
E.g. "Tarren mill" is put as "Tarrenmill", but on wow armory its "Tarren-mill".
Using alot due to pugging. Please fix. :)
In reply to jartholdy:
I might not be understanding correctly. It is currently programmed to replace spaces with dashes for the WoW Armory link.
Is that not how it is done anymore?
Sorry if this has been answered already ..
I am a new WIM user. Is there a way to move the cursor inside edit box using arrow keys? When I press right/left, my character turns.
I'm using Prat3 as well. Arrows work seamlessly with Prat edit box though.
Thanks!
In reply to Genni84:
It is a feature of prat. by default WoW blocks the arrow keys so it doesn't interfere as much with your game place. You can navigate the edit box by using the ALT+Arrow Keys

Thanks!
Hi! Thanks for this addon, is really great to organize whispers and trade chat for the selling crafting process in DF :)
I just want to let you know that I have an error on the trade window. I've setted WIM to show trade channel on a different WIM window but when I leave the city it gives me an error on the WIM window "Invalid channel name" and re-entering the city won't join Trade channel back again.
I have to logout and login and type "/join Trade" to be able to see trade channel again.
I've found a bug report on prat addon similar to the same issue. maybe it can help? :)

In reply to 2BOnest:
I believe this is not an error of WIM. WIM doesn't handle the joining of channel. I tested leaving and entering cities with only WIM enabled and I don't seem to be getting this error.

cant link items in a message
In reply to JaidyEU:
I am getting this same error when I trying to link my own Lariat. II can link other items the lariat is the only one I have found so far that doesn't work. Was there ever a fix mentioned?
I have lost the ability to assign a keybind to show/hide the WIM window, I had one set and accidentally changed it, but I cannot find the options in the keybind settings again. Seems to have gone away after the UI updates with Dragonflight. Is this known or am I having some other issue? I loved having a keybind to show/hide WIM windows.
This addon, while great, is always out of date.... why?
In reply to verdict0224:
Because it was created by and maintained by someone who no longer plays the game -- you're welcome ;-)
In reply to RealPazza:
hi, how can I search for player’s ID on history? I only can search for whisper content.
In reply to 陳宜庭:
I have to refresh my familiarity with real ids... from what I remember, we don't actually have access to the names themselves. They get a special tag that when shown in chat, the game translates into the name itself. So in that regard I don't think it'd be possible to search. I'd have to dig into that more though. BNET has always been a PITA.
In reply to RealPazza:
is possible to add some like pin to history? it's hard to find who talk to me before...
In reply to RealPazza:
Great big thank you! I've used WIM since 2008 and can't imagine WoW without it. Not related but I've been banging my head against this for a while. Is there a way to pin a message window so that it would only go away if you hit the minimize button? I've got mine set so they don't disappear during combat and what not. They always hide themselves when I
hit escape(turns out I'm an idiot on this one), go through a loading screen, and a couple of other things.@verdict0224, have you looked at the files tab here? WIM gets regular updates several times a month. Does it get updated as quickly as ElvUI, Bagnon, BarTender, Plater, WeakAuras, etc.? Maybe not. However, it gets updated frequently enough that you should never experience significant roadblocks that would impede your enjoyment of the addon.
Again, thank you for maintaining this addon. I remember when it was abandoned and I had to clear frequent bugs and /reload when the UI errors it caused messed with the game.
*Edit* Grammar and a factual correction.
In reply to avasture:
:-) Thanks for that. If you have any bugs or requests post them at github. Its a lot easier to keep track of and communicate than it is in the comments.
