I am getting the same behavior with WIM (I have isolated it to just this addon) -- shift-clicking a name, and selecting "who" from the Player Menu (using PlayerLinkMenu) has to response in the chat log. No error, but no information is displayed either.

I'm having the same problem. Disabling WIM also narrowed it down for me, it's WIM that's blocking the shift-clicking of a name.

from what I have read, the problem with with "libwho" (or "wholib"), a library in WIM. supposedly, downgrading the library to v94 solves the "who" problem. haven't tried this yet.

Great addon, liked it for a long time!
Although the latest version supresses the messages if I shift-click a name.
It does not stop the shift-click-action, because other addons I use with that still work well. It just does not show the /who info it should give. I have to press O to open the Who-Is tab to see what I'm looking for.

WOW am i glad i came to this page kind of by accident. turns out numerous bugs (mostly with chat) that have been driving me insande since 3.2 are directly caused by WIM. i wasted so much time trying to figure them out.

Disabled this addon and life is good again.

This addon is currently suppressing messages from my main chat frame while I am in combat, regardless of my current settings. (I have unchecked "supress messages from the default chat frame" under every single state.)

I need to be able to see whispers I am receiving while in combat. I need them to show up in the main chat window because I cannot have the pop up chat windows appearing while I am battling something. This worked like a charm before the last update to WIM, but now it just isn't working for me anymore. Is there a setting somewhere that I am completely missing or ignoring? I can't find anything else that would alter this that is not under the "window behavior" section.

I have tested WIM v3 3.1.2 with PlayerLinkMenu and PlayerMenu, and am unable to use the "who" command (both mods provide a right click menu on a player name with various options, including invoking the /who command). Turning WIM off allows the "who" command to work fine in either mod. Could the LibWho library be causing problems? I see another person posted an error on Aug 14 here that shows that library in the error message. I tried swapping out the LibWho library in WIM with version 2.0 r99 from the Wowace web site, but it did not fix the problem.

Great addon, been using your over a year now. But, do you think you could maybe make it compatible with FuBar again? It used to automatically go to the bar instead of the minimap icon and i loved that because I could put it right at the bottom and it removes clutter from my minimap (for some reason I'm OCD about all the minimap icons).

I'm also having WIM interfere with Shift+clicking names. Disabling WIM and shift+clicking works fine. This only started happening since the last update.

im getting a problem when "Shift clicking" a name in any chat windows that is meant to show the players info, tried all my diff addons and ur's is the only 1 that is making the problem.
as i can see this addon it getting more stuff added all the time and 2/3'd of it maybe buggy or just not needed
(i dont use it for all the diff chat's just /w's so its just going on what i use of it not what other ppl use it for too)
so, from the default core of the addon can u make it so all the other stuff like the stuff in the chat tab a pug-in for wim as it may make less bugs for most ppl that dont need/use all the other junk in side ur gr8 addon and may fix the player info yellow text for most ppl or for the others that do use the other stuff just fix the problem :)

anyway, cos i think to soe ppl that may just be looking like ????????????? here is what it says in note form :)

* ur addon (Wim) is making the yellow text <player> <lvl> <guild> <zone> thingy not show up in other chat windows
* can u plx make the stuff in the Chat tab (ie guild, officer, party..etc) a pug-in so it all dont not have to be loaded up even if the player dont use it *not sure if it does or not just saying may use
* ur addon is gr8 :)

I am having a problem that my general dialogue box does not show any rolls, group invites, or almost anything that is displayed as that yellow text type :(

An odd error with 3.2 (does not actually throw up a UI error). Names in all chats become noninteractable (can not shift-click to /who them). However, I can still /who them manually, and can sometimes still shift-click to insert their name into an open text edit box.

It also causes problems in the new ToC 5man battle, when you get dismounted from you're horse it bugs the UI and you have to reload.
