One request would be to have the flashy tabs back as well rather then auto switching tabs. I'll be in the middle of typing a message and someone will message me and all the sudden i'm opening control panels and jumping. LOL. Great addon either way.

I have the exact same problem. I hope there is a fix soon. Otherwise the addon is great, awaiting some fresh updates :)

Hello sylvanaar, Pazza,

Thank you for your hard work on WIM3.

I wrote an extremely detailed proposal for some features that would be wonderful to include in WIM, and did lots of work in outlining how it could be coded up.

I've been having the same problem. Please, do not use WIM unless you have it enabled for bug testing. WIM does not work right now and I'm sure he's working hard to fix it since we don't have much time before the expansion hits. Use WIM at your own risk. Some whispers will not go through.

I've been having a strange problem tonight. One whisper gets repeated for anything I or my partner writes. He still gets my whispers, but whatever I write or he writes I always see the same text. Haven't figured out what triggers it. Also those whispers won't get logged. Relogging solved the problem for a while but it came back.

thank you for adding the tabbing back into WIM. however i seem to still have an issue. when i hit R to reply and hit tab to scroll through, it won't change the tabs. it used to scroll through the tabs of whispers when i hit tab, but it isn't atm. i understand you're working on a "ground up" rebuild so i'm not pissing and moaning, but could you please reinsert that feature when you get a chance? thank you tons and tons and tons for a great mod. <3

oh yeah, and i have also noticed (with some others) that when typing in guild or party chat, if i get a whisper, everything i'm typing after the whisper arrives transfers to the WIM whisper instead of being completed in the guild or party chat line. it has made for some interesting mistells =P

the only way i've been able to look is by opening up a whisper window with someone i've chatted with before and hitting the little note icon that opens up my history with that player... in that new window that pops up is your entire history on all your characters. unfortunately everything is saved per character, and so if you want to delete the history of one person with 5 of your characters...you have to delete it 5 times :s

hello :-)

wim is such a great addon and i couldn't do without it...

since then new patch there's just one thing that doesn't work for me anymore: how can i see the "wim-history"? can't find a button or anything to click to see all the old whispers and historys... does anybody have an advice for me how to see wim history?

The bug with WIM crashing WOW when minimizing is being focused on. The temp fix is to disable the window animation in your wim settings. Check your settings by typing /wim.

And please.. i repeat PLEASE READ PREVIOUS POSTS BEFORE POSTING YOUR BUG. There could be a fix for your problem since it's been asked about 50 times before.

I'm having 2 Problems:
1) I can't look at whispers I recently sent (via TAB key) to other players except the person i'm just talking to (with R key).

2) I don't want to pop up windows when I'm in combat. In that case I want the message to show up in the chat log. But if i configure it that way I always get an error message when I'm in combat and getting a whisper. Also the whisper doesn't show up whether in the chat log nor in a WIM window. Not before I'm getting out of combat i can red it with the R key.

WIM also crashes wow for me when I minimize. I'm on a mac if that helps; i get a "EXC_BAD_ACCESS KERN_PROTECTION_FAILURE" error.

i love this addon and looking forward to when this is fixed :)

im haveing the EXACT same problem as hrocky101, but i figured out when exactly it does it (now why though) i whispered a friend and minimized, nothing, he whispered me back and i whispered him back, wow crashed, also if i use the escape kep to close the window nothing happens (no crash) but its WAAAYY to hard to remember to do it this way every time, every time you forget and accidently minimize rather than use escape it really sucks, so i keep mine turned off till u fix this plz ... hope this was helpful :)

I am having serious problems when I am typing to someone in a whisper and someone else whispers me it switches tabs and i start typing to the new person. So ill have like have a message done, then someone new messages me, and the other half of my original message starts tpying into their window. I keep having to switch tabs constantly, and my messages are getting all messed up.

i LOVE WIM and can't whisper people w/o it, but every time I minimize the windows the game crashes. Has there been a fix to this yet, or is there a way to just make the windows close instead of "slide" like they do?

Maybe you could work it in with one of the media player addons for WoW and show what song another user is listening to.

Also how do I get chat logging working? doesn't seem to show anything in the chat log menu. While this isn't a necessity, its a useful feature. Keep up the good work, can't wait till the next release.

- WIM does have tabbed chat windows, not by default, hold down shift and drag the window onto another.

To Zaiviys
- FuBar isn't a favourite addon of mine, I would prefer it if it is added that it be optional rather than necessary.

I hate to be a bother, and I know that with the servers (At least mine) as buggy as they are, it must be rather difficult, but is there a way you could try and squeeze Tabbed Mode into the addon? It was VERY useful, and I loved not having a million boxxes pop up on my screen.
