Makes your damage text bigger and similar to WoD Combat Text
In Legion, autoattacks are small and disappear quickly while your damage arcs all over the place
This addon makes it makes it bigger and scroll up instead of arc

You don't need to use this addon, it's basically this console command
/console floatingCombatTextCombatDamageDirectionalScale 0
Note: If you stop using this addon that cvar will stay the same, but you can change it back to 1 again
/console floatingCombatTextCombatDamageDirectionalScale 1

do you know how to modify the duration of dammages text on screen ?
I have seen some streamers with a very short time for dammages text appearing on screen

Posted Jun 16, 2017Don't think that's possible with the Blizzard damage text done to other units. Are those streamers maybe using combat text addons?

Posted Feb 13, 2017I've been looking into these cvars, but it seemed hard to make them even remotely similar to the pre-legion damage text
As for WorldTextScale, there is a slider in AdvancedInterfaceOptions now for it. Otherwise I'd change it to something big, but everyone has a different preference so that slider seems the best option

I am looking to change my floating combat text back to the pre-mop era(I really dislike the way the current combat text floats). There was an option until pre-patch which let you switch back to the legacy combat text but that option was pruned.
If you don't know what I'm talking about here is a good example: . I have already tried using AdvancedInterfaceOptions addon but it does not have that option.
This is the way you were able to do it before pre-patch:

Posted Jul 22, 2016All it does is change the direction of the combat text, while at the same time the white combat text (auto attacks) are made to be the same size as your spell/ability damage
Addons like AnyFont can replace the Damage Font itself, but there is no simple way to increase the font size by X scale :(

You can change the font itself though
