About YurrCombatLog

YurrCombatLog is a replacement for Blizzard_CombatLog in the style of SimpleCombatLog.

Features

Lightweight
Replace Blizzard_CombatLog events with a reformatted events so it's faster to read what information you want when the combat log is scrolling very fast
Colors of names are different for You, Pets, Enemies, Party, Raid, Guardians/Totems or color names by their class
Fully customizable filtering system
Blacklisting of auras to prevent spamming
Watch single units to see what happened to them (death tracking). Useful in raids to see why a tank died for example
Custom quick button frame like the one from Blizzard_CombatLog more tiny
Load on Demand options

Usage

type /ycl to open the settings
YurrCombatLog provides a LibDataBroker-1.1 object. You will need a display addon like ButtonBin, Carousel, Fortress, StatBlockCore, ChocolateBar, DockingStation, NinjaPanel or Titan Panel to name just a few.

sigh :( I even reset the profile and I am still getting any incoming damage or effects that are being done to me.

Hi,

I am having some major problems getting this to filter correctly. I only want to see the damage or effects that I am doing. I don't want any info on what the npc's are doing to me. Here's a JPG with two yellow bars that highlights things that I just can't seem to get removed. How can I get rid of these? What am I missing? lol

When i try to set a Main Tank, I get an error:

"yurrcombatlogg has been blocked by an action only available to the blizzard UI. You can disable the addon and reload the UI"

Fix please :(

The description of this AddOn tells you how to open the options panel...

to 3: I'm aware of this issue, it is somehow related to it's load on demand options

to 4: I'm not sure if fully understand what you mean "my other combat screens"

regarding your 5th point i think I've forgot to add "AceGUI-3.0" to the libraries.

Anyway, thanks for you comments, i will look into these issues.

I was looking for something that would allow me to track individuals' performances during a raid. This one looked promising so I downloaded it. Unfortunately, after one day of use, I had to remove it.

The major issue is that the new chat tabs covered up my other tabs.

Then the 2nd frustration was trying to figure out how to access the options. There is no login text - there is no option screen in the interface->addon screen, where every other mod has their options - and this page doesn't tell you what you should type. /yurr, /yuur, /yurrcombatlog, /YurrCombatLog, /YCL does not work. Eventually I figured out its /ycl.

3rd - /ycl doesn't work all the time. It seems to work every other time.

4th - I finally managed to figure out how to turn off the Yurr tabs - but then it hid the little button to let me see my other combat screens that I had made. I couldn't simply turn off YurrCombatLog.

and 5th - The error I get on login
[2009/05/27 11:53:03-360-x1]: AceConfigDialog-3.0-34:19: Cannot find a library instance of "AceGUI-3.0".

Good try, Yurrs. Lots of options, but when you can't get the basics right, I'm not really intrested in what your mod can or cannot do.

Reset your profile, if that doesn't work, delete your saved variables. It should work with the default settings.

It doesnt tell me anything that i do to other people (like me melee'ing them for 100 damage) but it shows all incoming damage and buffs/debuffs i recieve. why? it never used to do this and i've had it set on everything/to me/by me... nothing works.

I might add a way to reorder the filters, in the options menu. The buttons on the quick button frame will have the same order as the ones in the drop-down.
