A new version of LibTourist will be released soon, ZoneInfo will follow shortly after that. Updating the lib turned out to be more work than I anticipated but it's almost done.
In reply to Odica_Jaedenar:
Super! Thank you, it's really appreciated!
In reply to SunNova0:
An alpha version of ZoneInfo Classic is available for 2.5.1, containing an alpha version of LibTourist; feel free to test it.
There are still some todo's for LibTourist, so if you spot something that's missing or incorrect, please let me know :-)
In reply to Odica_Jaedenar:
Thanks! I'll install it right now. :)
In reply to Odica_Jaedenar:
Not sure if it's a problem with another addon, no errors, but nothing showing up, tomorrow I'll turn off these two and see what happens.Nova world buffs, and Leatrix_Maps.Ok, not sure what I did wrong yesterday, it's working perfect! Thank you!
In reply to SunNova0:
OK! That's good to know :-)
In reply to Odica_Jaedenar:
Awesome. I love your addon too. It's super helpful.

Thank you! :-)
I love this thing! It's so helpful.
For me, the only possible and minor feature would be to see the zone levels when zoomed out. To be honest though... works just fine as is :)
Thanks again for your work on this.

A long time ago, when the original ZoneInfo was a module of the famous but abandoned Cartographer suite, it would display zone info about the zone highlighted by your mouse cursor. However, the mechanism to detect the highlighted zone no longer works since WoW 8.0. That's why ZoneInfo 2 displays info about the selected zone only.
The text sizes are not really usable for me. Huge is kinda normal and the other ones are too small.
And can you please remove the "loaded" messages from ZoneInfo and LibTouristClassic?
There's some issue with your packaging script (I'm guessing)
This addon installs LibTouristClassic-1.0 and LibStub in the addons folder separately when updated through the Twitch client regardless of the user's "Install Libraries Separately" being set to off in Twitch app.
This started happening some time in the last 2 or 3 updates.

That's strange because when you download the zip file manually, it is composed correctly. I don't really know how I can change the behavior when it is installed through Twitch...
Anyone?
It might be a twitch app bug, it wouldn't be the first time (not for this particular behavior, but other problems)
Downloading the zip manually was the first thing I checked myself and indeed it is packaged properly.
thx that solution is great !!!
thx for your addon.. i would like to see a small button on top of the map to temporarly disengage the text of Zoneinfo on the upper left side . Actually it was hiding a questgiver^^

Hi,
Thanks, I think that could be useful, I will see what I can do 🙂
