- Latest update
Hi guys,
I know there's still some things missing, like layouts for example.
I would have loved to keep the old version of AG Unit Frames up until I thought the new version was 100% ready, but 3.0 came out, so I had to put the new version up. The old version not compatible with 3.0.
That said, I feel that the new AG Unit Frames is much lighter than the old one, while being easier to configure, contains more modern features and so on. As soon as the glitches in the wake of 3.0 is smoothed out, I'm sure many of you are going to be pretty happy with it.
Regarding the missing layouts, the layout system was completely changed, which makes the old layouts incompatible. It is much better and dynamic now and allows for a lot more customization, It is unfortunate that I haven't had time to rewrite some of the old layouts like "classic". I really plan to.
I hope this answers some of your questions!
- Issues
There is a problem where party members won't be created correctly if they join while you're in combat. This is a bug in the Blizzard interface code and won't be fixed until they release a new patch. This affects all unit frame addons.

great addon <3
If you want to add "target of focus' taret" yourself or add another non-default target you can follow these same steps:
- Choose a target you don't need. I chose "pet's target" since I'm not a hunter.
- Go into every .lua file and replace every instance the target's name (pettarget) with your desired new target name (focustargettarget). I think the only files I had to change was ag_UnitFrames, and ag_Options-enUS.
- In the Options file, also change the description of the target for the GUI (Target of Focus' Target is what I called mine).
- Restart WoW and setup your nice new target!
Why would I want this? I currently set the main tank as my focus. Then I have up my Focus' Target (which is normally the mob/boss the raid should be focusing on). And now I can complete the circle if I can have the target of my focus' target (which would then be whoever has aggro).
The only thing I'm not to fond of is how even you come across a rare or an elite it only realy shows the text for such in the mob type. I'd much rather still have a graphical indicator over what is a rare and whats an elite.
Last night I came across old crystalbark while helping a friend and didn't even notice it was a rare until I misclicked and looted it. I was about to just leave it fallen. Then came across an elite and didn't know it was until it had me dead on the ground in a few hits.
A setting to show examples of how thing's look with out having to be in that situation would also be nice. Like how the party frame looks so we can set up how that displays with out waiting until we are in a party, same with BG's/raids and other things. I didn't even know what the targets target frame looked like until later in the day (and found it floating somewhere mid screen)
Over all it does look nice, but the big thing for me is when I come across rares/elites I'd kinda like an insta notice like a graphic or a border color rather then pausing a minute to read some text while a super elite is beating down my back. :P
However there is one module that I cannot figure out what it does.. "fivesecond". Can we possibly get descriptions on these modules? Also more customization of them would be nice, for example I really like the idea of the incoming heals modules but in it's current form it is too ugly for me.
Also how can I set the rested xp color back to grey?
My rightclick popup in AG Units doesn't work - I mean - it pops up, but when I click any command - just nothing happens (like I can't leave party or whisper my target).
I have a little problem with AG_UF at the moment, it's that if you choose different settings for the Text (For the Health or Powerbar), you can not pick the position and formation.
Can you make it possible to enter a custom dogtag for the Unitframes again please?
Andreas it has been a couple years since I've used this addon. I am looking to cut the CPU usage of my UI down, so need to dump Pitbull. I should have done that earlier - the configuration interface is excellent. Nice work - glad I came back.
Edit: Noticed some issues mentioned here already that will prevent me from using this. Just got a look at Pitbull4 and it seems to be a more advanced version of ag_uf with the easy config and added layout feature.
cheers.
Now to the question.
I'm trying to get my bars to not abbrevate hitpoints and manapoints, but I can't seem to find it anywhere at all to edit this anymore. I know it was possible somewhere back in TBC. I'm not that good at editing LUA files but if thats the only way to try to get rid of the abbrevation then atleast I know. Is there anyone who has any suggestions or answers?
nvm, i reloaded the ui and it fixed it
