Customizable unit frame addon.

How to configure the unit frames in 3.0

Press "esc" to open the options menu.

Press the "Interface" button.

In the interface options window, press the "AddOns" tab.

Select "AG Units" from the tree of available addons.

Press the "Open AG Units Options" button. This will open the AG Unit Frames options window.

(Alternatively, you can write "/aguf" in the chat.)

Hi guys,

I know there's still some things missing, like layouts for example.

I would have loved to keep the old version of AG Unit Frames up until I thought the new version was 100% ready, but 3.0 came out, so I had to put the new version up. The old version not compatible with 3.0.

That said, I feel that the new AG Unit Frames is much lighter than the old one, while being easier to configure, contains more modern features and so on. As soon as the glitches in the wake of 3.0 is smoothed out, I'm sure many of you are going to be pretty happy with it.

Regarding the missing layouts, the layout system was completely changed, which makes the old layouts incompatible. It is much better and dynamic now and allows for a lot more customization, It is unfortunate that I haven't had time to rewrite some of the old layouts like "classic". I really plan to.

I hope this answers some of your questions!

Issues

There is a problem where party members won't be created correctly if they join while you're in combat. This is a bug in the Blizzard interface code and won't be fixed until they release a new patch. This affects all unit frame addons.

I've had this problem for a while now, can't seem to find a way around it. The issue is that any time I try to copy a profile or change a profile, the UI resets to default, and I can't get it back to the way it was.

AGUF is highly-customizeable, so it takes forever and a half to set it up again. Are you aware of this issue? FYI, there's no error accompanying this.

Will this ever be fixed? This problem has been around for ages, has been reported here a gazillion times, but nothing seems to be done. Right now I'm stuck with Xperl, purely because of this one flaw on AG's side :(

Any way to see Focus Target with this mod? I can see focus, but not the Focus' target.

I cant seem to heal anything or target something that is casting. if i do. i keep getting a error message saying my font is not set.

I'm having a problem casting on Target of Target....I used to be able to heal the target(friendly) of my target (enemy) simply by casting. Same with targeting a party member and casting to attack his target (enemy). This was with AGU pre3.1. Since then I reinstalled and haven't had this functionality. Any thoughts? Not sure if this would have to do with any default options, but I played with them and nothing so far...

u can always click on player u want to focus and use slash command; /focus
the focus frame will be visible but u need to enable it in aguf setting first.

Hey there I was looking for some help. Every time I try to set my focus target I get an error popup saying
"ag_unitframes has been blocked from an action only available to the Blizzard UI. You may disable the addon or reload the UI"
No matter what settings I change in the AG options this popup still appears. Can someone please help me get my Focus bar to show up?

I'm having a problem, but I haven't asked around about it, just hoping that a new release of AGUF would fix it. The cooldown timers on the buff icons themselves seem to place themselves on the top-most "layer," in front of my tradeskill window, Character sheet, Reputation sheet, etc. It causes a LOT of FPS lag. I had to disable cooldowns on my party buffs, and my buffs, and just make sure I'm not targeting something when I press C to look at my character sheet. Sometimes though, during a boss fight, I'm curious to see my crit and AP with buffs, etc, so I'll hit C, and the buff cooldowns will show on top of the window! It lags me to all hell. Anyone have any suggestions? Shadowed, maybe you could help me? You seem pretty involved with the community here... Thanks!

Don't even bother installing this addon, it crashes at least 2 times in raids, and 2 times when just doing dailys.

this addons is just shit and will make both you and your guild angry on wipes...

Debuff highlights do not work for me. Anyone else have this issue? Highlighting is enabled on all frames, the highlights module is enabled, auras are enabled. I'm a paladin. Poisons, diseases, and magic debuffs do not cause frame highlights.

I appear to have a problem with my ag_units when auras are active I constantly get an lua error. I can deactive aura's and the problem goes away, I have tried deactivating my other addons but the problem still persists. Any ideas what the problem could be? Deactivating the aura's on my Druid is acceptable, but when I'm on using my warlock for example, its quite important I can see all of the DoT's on a raid boss to optimize my DPS and too many of the DoT watching addons are to heavy. If I cant fix this soon I'm going to have to drop ag and go back to the basic. I can't go back to those standard wow frames. Standard WoW interface not only makes me cry inside, but it also makes my eyes bleed.

a problem
i can't target my partymember through the partyframe (when i'm in a party i can't click the partyframe)
it's problem solution: /aguf_config->party->party indication->self and free->"free" click.
do as the solution above ,i can target my partymember correctly.But when the partymember changed,the colour of the frame no change ,like this,a priest in your party firstly,when the priest leave your party,a paladin
new in ,that the frame colour of the paladin no changes , is still white,which is the the priest's framecolour.

ag_GroupClass.lua, line 161, should be:

self.header:SetAttribute("groupingOrder","DEATHKNIGHT,DRUID,HUNTER,MAGE,PALADIN,PRIEST,ROGUE,SHAMAN,WARLOCK,WARRIOR")

Correctly spelled ROGUE, switched order of PALADIN and PRIEST, added DEATHKNIGHT.

I gotta say switching from alpha PB4 to this awesome uniframe addon is probably the best thing since sliced bread. Now I only lack 3 main things from making this even better. Being able to hide the standard blizzard de/buff frame(s) I heard this worked in older builds. (I'm just using a simple standard code for this now) Being able to move the Castbar on-top. I turned of the castbar which is a shame, except for party frames/targets.

And being able to have both de/buffs below the unitframe, as the option is there but not fully optional I assume? As the debuff just falls back at the same location as the buff row and gets overlapped... I wish to have them on their own row below or above :)

Same problem, can't sent focus w/o disabling addon. Also, in raid options, when you add a new group... how do you undo it?

Just want to say that this is an amazing addon, always loved it.. until when WotLK came.. I just find it veeeeeeeeeery buggy, unitframes not showing properly, unitframes disappearing, health/mana not updating, buffs not showing.. and when I relog all the options are set to default. This really annoys me, but I really like the addon. =/

Just wondering if the older version will be updated so it can be used in 3.1, 'cause that was when it really shined.
