ag_UnitFrames
Customizable unit frame addon.
- How to configure the unit frames in 3.0
Press "esc" to open the options menu.
Press the "Interface" button.
In the interface options window, press the "AddOns" tab.
Select "AG Units" from the tree of available addons.
Press the "Open AG Units Options" button. This will open the AG Unit Frames options window.
(Alternatively, you can write "/aguf" in the chat.)
- Latest update
Hi guys,
I know there's still some things missing, like layouts for example.
I would have loved to keep the old version of AG Unit Frames up until I thought the new version was 100% ready, but 3.0 came out, so I had to put the new version up. The old version not compatible with 3.0.
That said, I feel that the new AG Unit Frames is much lighter than the old one, while being easier to configure, contains more modern features and so on. As soon as the glitches in the wake of 3.0 is smoothed out, I'm sure many of you are going to be pretty happy with it.
Regarding the missing layouts, the layout system was completely changed, which makes the old layouts incompatible. It is much better and dynamic now and allows for a lot more customization, It is unfortunate that I haven't had time to rewrite some of the old layouts like "classic". I really plan to.
I hope this answers some of your questions!
- Issues
There is a problem where party members won't be created correctly if they join while you're in combat. This is a bug in the Blizzard interface code and won't be fixed until they release a new patch. This affects all unit frame addons.

Is there a way to remove the option controls when Ctrl or Alt RMB on the frames? I would like to be able to down rank my heals using Click to Cast. Currently, I can Ctrl, Alt, Shit Left Mouse and Middle Mouse, but can only Shift Mouse on the unit frames. I love this mod, however I'm running into content where I really need to consider multiple ranks and spells being avaialable from the click option.
Aggro or targeted highlighting would be nice as well, something that Grid offers.
Ehh.. I like this addon, BUT I CANT see my party in BG's nor Arenas, and I CANT see raid group. Does anyone knows whats wrong or is it really supposed to be this way? If thats the case I'd threw this addon right in the wastepaper basket!
Phario, I know for sure that X-perl does this in BG's. I think this may be because the chat is still in party, but due to the fact that you have joined a BG, you have entered a different "party". Not sure about arena tho.

I'm playing in spanish and when i try to look for this AceLocale-2.2.lua (easy task) there aren't 487 lines at all.
Can somone help me?
Special request:
Global Opacity Settings
I play on a TV and without reducing some of the really strong whites (i.e. text, rage bars, etc) you get some bad burn-in on the screen.
How do I get rid of the default blizzard buffs (I have elkano's buff bars too so I can't fathom why they are still there...)?
How do I make it show deficit HP / Max HP
I.e if I lose 1k hp, it will show -1000/11993. What do I put in the custom text box? Thanks.
update for 2.3 please :)
how am i supposed to tell when to feed my pet?
is there a way to turn off the buffs that go under ur frame?
either that or is there a way to put them on top?
Love the mod too, but like previous poster I really need the Pet's Target and Party Targets frames. The fix from Aur works, but I'd rather not have to modify new versions "by hand". Anyone knows if these frames will be added to ag_unitframes source? I would really like that.
Love the mod, these frames work very well with my UI Set-up. But two features from X-Perl keep calling me to go back to it. Pet's Target, Party Targets. On impulse I delved into the ag_UnitFrames lua file. Within I found
"aUF:CreateUnit("player","Player")
aUF:CreateUnit("pet","Pet")
aUF:CreateUnit("target","Combo")
aUF:CreateUnit("targettarget","Metro")
aUF:CreateUnit("targettargettarget","Metro")
aUF:CreateUnit("focus","Focus")
aUF:CreateUnit("focustarget","Metro")"
Taking a stab in the dark I added aUF:CreateUnit("pettarget","Metro") after the pet line and to my surprise (and joy) it worked! Now just have to figure out how get this frame to show in the menu.
Edit: a trick to making this frame show to edit and make changes to it. Eyes of the Beast. Once you have control of your pet, target anything, and edit away =D
You're awsome. Added Pet Target, Pet Targets Target, Party Targets, and Party Targets Targets :P
aUF:CreateUnit("pettarget","Metro")
aUF:CreateUnit("pettargettarget","Metro")
aUF:CreateUnit("party1target","Metro")
aUF:CreateUnit("party1targettarget","Metro")
aUF:CreateUnit("party2target","Metro")
aUF:CreateUnit("party2targettarget","Metro")
aUF:CreateUnit("party3target","Metro")
aUF:CreateUnit("party3targettarget","Metro")
aUF:CreateUnit("party4target","Metro")
aUF:CreateUnit("party4targettarget","Metro")
It would be nice if ag had a 'show all frames' option, so that we could do alignment without having to actually be in a part/have targets, etc.
w00t! I was fiddling with the party targets, but ya beat me to it! =D
and Yeah, a show all frames option would be nice. Not only for Party Targets Frames... but honestly, when are you ever in a group with 4 other people with combat pets out? Makes editing those Pet Frames a little tricky too!
Can you please add Party Targets (and possibly Party Target's Target)? I really love this mod, but I'm forced to use X-Pearl Unit Frames instead because it supports Party Targets while ag_UnitFrames does not.
Party Targets is a must-have feature! I'm sure you could take a look at either X-Pearl or even the 'PartyTargets' mods if you're not sure how to implement this feature.
Is there a way to show the energy ticker like X-perl in the player frame? If can't, is that possible to add the feature into ag? I really like the idea of energy ticker shows in X-perl
I've not used ag_uf for a few months. Is there now a way to show pets as a separate frame/party member? I was really happy with using it except for that; sometimes you actually do need to heal the pet.
for some reason my rage seems to be reporting incorrectly, my unitframe will show me as having a random amount of rage (say, 32) when i actually have zero? i THINK it could be the amount of rage i zone out of an instance (like a BG) with but im not 100% sure if this is the only time this happens, but ive noticed the bug a few times. any work arounds or anyone else with the same bug?
is there a way to show party targets like the way x-perl does it?
First of all I'd like to thank you for bringing these good looking unitframes into my life. I've always thought that a good looking UI makes it a lot funnier to play as a healer, but also easier.
I've got one big problem with it though. Some of my heals are bound to CTRL/SHIFT+1/2/3/4/5 (ex. holy light is SHIFT+2). And sometimes when I'm gonna target a party member by clicking on their unitframe and then heal them fast, I already have pressed down SHIFT or CTRL, and apparently this isn't allowed. The reason that I sometimes push SHIFT before targeting is simply because it's a lot faster just pushing "2" after having targeted instead of having to push SHIFT+2. Sadly, I couldn't ever target before pushing down SHIFT, not when I have to heal someone fast. Believe me, I've tried. :/
Maybe that wasn't the best explaination. What I'm wondering is if there's any way that I can be able to target my party members by clicking on them, while holding SHIFT or CTRL down?
Thanks!

That isn't ag_uf its discord.
