Blood Legion Cooldown

Table of Contents

Helps track raid cooldowns visually with icons and bars. It is designed to have minimal impact and be very simple to understand and configure.

Commands:
/blcd opt :: open the options screen
/blcd show :: toggles visibility of the addon
/blcd reset :: reset all running cooldowns and available counts
/blcd wipe :: reset cooldowns after a wipe
/blcd lock :: lock/unlock the cooldown frame position
/blcd extra :: filter out extra raid members (only the first 10/25 members of the raid will be tracked)
/blcd clearextra :: resets extra filtering to show all players
/blcd rescan :: rescan the raid for talents

When reporting a bug please include the following information:
- What version of BLCD did you see the error in?
- Do you have ElvUI installed and enabled?
- Do you have any other addons installed and enabled? (Please list them)
- The full text of any lua errors (installing BugSack and !BugGrabber will allow you to easily report lua errors)

Todo List:

- Adjustable bar size
- Adjustable bar text size
- Bar texture and font
- Resume current bars after /reload or when joining a group (latter option would require other users to have addon)
- Horizontal layout

The part about this addon I like is the raid announce for CDs.. I actually don't use the visual portion at all. Does anybody know if there is a way to remove the visual portion or if there is a mod or weak aura that will accomplish just the text portion?

Maybe put the source on github and let the community fix it up?

Also, is there a fix for the addon crashing when you leave groups?

Hi! This addons is not working for me anymore! After the last patch of WoD it wont work for me. Been trying to reinstalling it, used it with addons and without any other addons etc. Please help!

The Fix: Interface > Addons > BL_Cooldown > core.lua

Code lines 1223 and 1224, should look like this:

Could you be more specific as to how to get to where I need to type out such commands?

I don't know what (if any) folder I should go to. Where is "Addon Communication" located?

Currently in game, its as if the addon doesn't exist.

its the core.lua file, i would also recommend using notepad++ program to open it so you can know which line is 1224

Right click WoW Icon > Open file location > Interface > Addons > BL_Cooldown > core.lua (Open file in Notepad. In View Menu > Select Status Bar to see line numbers)

To get the addon to work in Legion comment out "return" on Line 1224. Found right under the section "Addon Communication" in core.lua. To comment out a line, type --

Save file, Reload UI in WoW and Enjoy!

There were some LUA errors I was getting, specifically a disabled function that had a lot of resedue code with the commect 'REDO in it'. Removeing the disabled code did the trick.

core.lua, line numer 1223 (now looks like this for me;)

function BLCD:ReceiveMessage(prefix, message, distribution, sender)
return
end

some what the same thing in init.lua, on line 21 there is a function call which seems to be only partially made... at least I don't think the '...' part should be there, so i commented this out;

--BLCD.frame:SetScript("OnEvent", function(this, event, ...)
-- BLCD[event](BLCD, ...)
--end)

I haven't tried if the addon works now as in an actual raid (don't have time for that right now) but at least the LUA errors are gone and the /blcd opt command works again :)

Dont do this. Revert back and then all you need to do, is comment out return on line 1224.

This addon was 100% a must have to assist my raid leading, I guess it's not updated for Legion. Would love to make use of this addon again, nothing compares.

My BLCD does not still work... I have no idea why. When I type /blcd its like I don't even have it. Wierd... Anyone else gets this?
