Broker_Portals

Table of Contents

Why would you have actionbars filled with portals, or open your spellbook everytime you cast a portal? Just right click on icon or minimap button and you can access all portals so comfortably.

It is designed as DataBroker plug-in, that lets you access all portal and teleport spells from one spot. Addon will be attached to minimap by default, but if you want to move/customize it, you will have to install additional addon like TitanPanel, HidingBar, or Bazooka and there are many more.

Features:

All mage portals, hearthstone and teleporting items available from simple dropdown menu
Minimap button, so you don't have to install any additional addon
Hearthstone location and cooldown in tooltip
Reagent count in tooltip (for Cataclusm Classic)
If hearthstone is on cooldown, Scroll of Recall will be used instead if possible
Can announce, that you're casting a portal

Localization:

If you'd like to add/update localizations, do so here. Then leave a comment on WowAce or on Curse as I'm checking those more often than localization app itself, and I'll repack it.

FAQ:

I managed to hide my minimap icon, how do I turn it on again?
- Just simply type "/portals".
Does it support teleportation items like engineering teleports or Kirin Tor rings?

Can you add the funcionality of a left mouse click on it: cast the last casted teleport/portal spell?
Would be awesome!

Can I ask why? Or instead of the last used, being able to select a 'default' through the right click menu. I actually use this on -ALL- my toons for easy HS access and it's the only portal option I have in most cases so makes the right click menu moot.

If you don't want to, that's fine.. you're the mod author. Just wondering what your reasoning is for not adding a left click shortcut.

Unfortunately it's not that easy. This addon is sort of a plugin and I havent found a way to make it cast a spell on a click, since casting spells is handled way different by the game than opening some menu onclick.

Hey guys, if you want to use the new items and use Curse Client, you can right click Broker_Portals and set to download Alpha versions. This way you will get the new items. I will release a new version once we have some more items in the list.

Just did as you suggested and noticed that even in the current alpha version, the Innkeeper's Daughter (http://www.wowhead.com/item=64488/the-innkeepers-daughter) doesn't seem to be supported.

Otherwise, excellent mod that saves me a ton of time futzing with my spellbook and bags. :)

Is there a way for this addon to include functionality to listen to General and Trade channels to see if there are people requesting a port? Basically, I'm hoping you can add to this plugin what "Traveler" used to do, but no longer works.

So I just installed 1.8.15. I was at 1.8.14, and my hearthstone was listed on the mouseover, but when I right-clicked, it wasn't there. This is on a DK. My Death Gate appears, as does "Darnarian's Scroll of Teleportation", but no hearthstone. I updated to 1.8.15 hoping it would fix it, but it didn't. :(

the tooltip shows an insanely large amount of numbers behind the decimal with 4.03.
