agreed, the most annoying issue is that when i zoom in too much, i wont see a thing... - due to missing/wrong textures or sth else about them...
when this will be fixed, addon should work fine... but i still think that the new look is not cool :P

from what it looks like, he's dirictly calling the textures from the game's data with MD5's, the problem is probably diffirences in the checksum from localization versions.

and to add a not to this, the reason he's doing this is to keep the down amount of resources the addon uses. if he added them directly into the addon it would make the DL size in the GB range.

So mr. Knight, are you going to fix the textures soon? :)

I can't see the instance maps with this, is there some option I'm overlooking or a module I need to download? Battlegrounds kalimdor eastern kingdoms outland and even northrend all show up.

I'm running into an issue with the newest version that I didn't with the previous. When I mouse over a zone, a white circle comes up and I can't click & drag the map. If I mouse over an area without the circle click and drag works fine.

I couldn't find any options or hints as to what the white circle was or if there was a way to disable it.

Any ideas?

I like the direction the new cartographer is going, great work.
However... I really miss not having the following items not auto shown
- flight stops
- herbs
- mines

Do you intend to show the locations of the above items?
Even with the latest version, I still get an error when I try and select the configuration button. Any tips?

Love cartographer 3 just wish everything else would work with it.

A few things though, all edges of the map are resizable so it makes it difficult to just move the map to one spot (unless you move one corner then another) would be better if only 2 corners moved other 2 would be locked and then pin the map so you could just move the whole thing in one go. Clicking the close button stopped me from being able to reopen it again ( I have the map so its not attached to the world map so clicking the map button will only open the would map and the cartographer options do not show any way of reopening the mod)

But this is a great idea for a map really handy the way it tracks and moves with you + the zoom feature. Keep going with it and it'll be a big winner.

What happened to Cartographer_Mining, Cartographer_Herbalism, Cartographer_Fishing? They've just...disappeared!

cartographer 3 was completely redone from the ground up, so addon's for cartographer 2 probably won't work with 3, also take into consideration that 3 needs to be finished, before extensions of it can be added to it.

look at the anology this way Cartographer 3 is to Cartographer 2, as Everquest 2 is to Everquest 1

you should get Gathereer from http://www.gathereraddon.com it works just fine and has the same if not more functions.

I'm pretty sure Gatherer doesn't work with Cartographer_Routes.

Recommendation:
Cartographer_Routes has been depreciated.
Just get the "Routes" add-on, and this works with Gatherer.

I do run Gatherer and Cartographer 3.0 v0.10.2 works just fine. One of the fixes for if you want to zoom in All the way is to make the nodes smaller and make the fix for the problem with zooming in and it changing to purple, by changeing the "Texture Change Zoom" under the Cartographer options All the way to Near so it doesnt go to the mini map style map.

My apologies for the multiple posts however... There are other issues that need some help, such as getting the error message below when trying to choose a blue box for a note to place on the map (which it wouldn't allow, it only allowd me to choose the gold cross).

And after placing one note, it caused Quest Helper to crash with a red error message telling me I'd probably have to restart WOW to continue, which I then turned it off to see if I can find an updated Quest Helper or better yet Cartographer to try to fix these problems. I loved the last version of this map system, it was very useful and stable on my system, this one is fancy, however not very stable yet.
